Kecoughtan reached the Hurricanes' 30-yard line before an incomplete pass on 4th down stopped their drive. They fell to 0-3 despite leading twice.

Junior Jordan House scored the only points of the 1st half with a 76-yard touchdown run on a quarterback keeper with 6:10 to go before halftime.

The next score didn't come until late in the 3rd quarter after a series of turnovers. Kecoughtan forced a fumble that was returned to the Heritage 5-yard line. However, Kecoughtan gave the ball right back after a fumble on their first snap, giving Heritage the ball at their own 7-yard line.

Ridley connected with Elijah Brown for a 93-yard touchdown competition to tie the score 6-6 with 4:09 to go in the 4th quarter.

Decorey Cassell had a 49-yard touchdown wiped out due to a penalty, and the Warriors turned the ball over after an interception by sophomore Lamar Burrell.

Ridley connected with Brown for a 33-yard completion to the Kecoughtan 16-yard line, but another fumble gave the ball back to Kecoughtan. The 3rd quarter ended 6-6.

The Warriors' next scoring opportunity was set up by a 4th-and-11 fake punt by Heritage that was stopped at the Hurricanes' 14-yard line. Kecoughtan tried a 31-yard field goal, but it was blocked, keeping the score at 6-6.

The Kecoughtan special teams did come through with a big play, recovering a bad snap on a punt in the end zone for a touchdown. The extra point gave Kecoughtan a 13=6 lead with 5:34 to go in the 4th quarter.
