It will be a slug-fest in their house; hopefully we do to them what they did to us last year

V, now give us the beef on the Defense...

I'm afraid you're gonna cry.

DL - Unknown
Hopefully, Gallimore continues the skills he showed last year. Romar and Ward are OK players. Obo will probably play DE, and hopefully he can continue getting good pass rush in the 4-3 from the DE position.

LB - Unknown
Can Emmanuel Beal be a leader at LB? Did many people know who he was before last year? Caleb Kelly might be really good. Is Ricky DeBerry ready to be a starter?

DB - Unknown
Parker and Thomas return, good, but who has much faith in the other guys for the complementary safety and corner positions? Will Johnson? McKinney, Sunderland, Haughton? They've all had chances and struggled some, right?

EDIT - I changed complimentary to complementary. I hope we don't just have a safety and corner out there complimenting Parker and Thomas on their performances. :)

Agree with you.
Broiles and Barnes are two DB's that are projected to play important roles.
LB core could be very good as the season wears on, but this position might be exploited by Ohio State in the 2nd game.
In my opinion, OU is getting too much praise this season, even with 40% of the offense missing from 2016 and with defense that simply is not good enough to be national championship worthy.....something that seems to be par for the course for many years now.
