This is an inexperienced, mistake prone team that is going to struggle to win any more than 4 games this season. Leach felt that he needed to make some major roster changes during the last two years to run what he wants to run, and the inconsistency that we’re seeing every week isn’t going to change any time soon. It will continue to be new mistakes every week, and the only question will be if the team we’re playing is bad enough to make them not matter

With that said, the honeymoon is over beginning in 2022. Whether it’s Rogers, Robertson, a new QB from the portal… I don’t give a 17. I just know that Leach needs to figure this crap out or he needs to be gone. We brought him here to score points, and it was the 9TH DRIVE OF THE GAME before we scored a TD today. He chose this roster, he’s calling the plays, and I’m sick of the excuses. Next year is win or get out

By the way, we only punted 3 times in 10 possessions (11 if you include the end of first half possession). We’re simply leaving too many plays to be made on the field at the end of drives. Heath not catching the TD before the missed FG, Heath fumble, Rogers INT into a tight window while Calvin is wide open in the end zone, etc. Then we had about 4 inexcusable defensive and special teams miscues. We were, by far, the less talented team today and also by far the more mistake prone team, and it was still close at the end. We’ve just got to stop beating ourselves….plain and simple.

While we may not have the recruiting stars, I think our talent is on par with a few teams left on the schedule. The problem is that I just don’t have any faith in the mistakes suddenly stopping
