Help with ESPN app...

Message is unable to play video. Another message says this is not part of my package. I do not understand it because I have watched it before. I have tried with fire stick, and Apple TV. Any thoughts?

I've had that happen before for no reason. One time I just restarted the app, and it worked.

You have to log out and reactivate the app through the website. Happens to me once a week. Worst app in history.

Who is your ISP? I'm on Xfinity/Comcast and they prevent the ESPN app from working. I have to use their Xfinity app to watch ESPN channels.

I’m on Comcast and don’t have to do that.

For the past 2 weeks, every time I open the ESPN app and click on a game, it tells me it's not part of my tv package. I have to go to settings, log out, then log back in. Works after I do that. But I have to do it EVERY SINGLE time, from one day to the next. I didn't think about deleting the app and adding it back. I'm going to try that. But I'm not holding my breath.

Log back in and make sure you aren't using a VPN.

I couldn't watch the game on my TV or Ipad and got the same message as stated above. I also tried logging back in but no luck. But for some strange reason I could watch the game on my phone and I have the same provider for everything.

I have xfinity and usually just the ESPN app prevents the ESPN app from working...

I had the same problem. I watched the games last weekend no problem but last night I could not mirror on the TV(thru appleTV). Had to watch on my iphone. I have DTV.

This is exactly what happens to me. My phone streams and will air drop to my tv. Last night the quality was definitely not HD but it was better than nothing. I gave up using the iPad last night.

This is nothing new. The current ESPN app is a little better than the old WatchESPN app - there were times in the past where I’d go months without being able to get it to work on my phone, but could watch with no problem on Xbox or PC. I’ve just gotten used to the log out / log in, uninstall / reinstall process. Hardest part is remembering my damn password.

No doubt it’s been the most buggy app I’ve ever used.
