I think Jeanty should have won it. Hunter was good and played a lot, but not the best at either position he played.

Hunter is definitely a stud, but he won the Heisman when he did the pose first and continued to do it. The Heisman is a popularity contest and not truly about the best player. It was going to be hard to overcome the Prime situation as the entire media sucks the guy off. To his credit, he is a hell of a marketing guy and he won Hunter the Heisman.

Hunter is not a "Buff" in the traditional sense. He goes to class. Respectful after the fact with regard to our game with them. Let's his play do the talking. Congratulations to the young man.
My vote was Jeanty but you are correct with this post. Not only does Hunter go to class, he has a 4.0 GPA! Pretty impressive.

Are you saying the Buffs don’t go to class? And if they don’t are they alone in regards to all other programs?

The traditional Buff knocks up the coaches' daughter. Hunter just seems like a really good person.

One time. Happened what 35 years ago? Nebraska had players that choked women and fled the police while drunk. Is that how you view all Huskers now still?
