I only saw the first game. I like the way they fought back in the second half against Shelby and had a chance. A few areas concern me. Overall I like coach Little and what he’s doing. There a few things I wish freedom could do. Stop being made play the county schools so we can play some teams to prepare us for the playoffs. Honestly what benefit is it to play draughn East Burke and Patton every year in non conference? No disrespect to any of the other schools but it is does not make us any better. Good gate but that’s it.
I agree, the non conference games aren't beneficial. Keep the Patton rival game and drop the other two. We do play Shelby which is good, maybe add Hibriten or another close team that is good. The conference is tough so I will be pleased with at least a 2nd place finish this season.
