Playing 5 against 8 is really difficult. The refs f$ckin suck.
Sometimes stars need to work harder to get free. The opponent is trying to prevent touches.
Ace played too many minutes. Down tge stretch Ace and Dylan’s tank was on E

Well our resident bracketologist said that we would’ve been back on the Bubble if we would’ve won this game. It absolutely meant something.
This was a SOUL CRUSHING defeat right up there with Iowa/Weiskamp miracle shot, OSU screw job, and Minnesota meltdown.
No other school has its heart ripped out more than we do. NONE.
This team sucks. I expected them to blow it and they did. The key to staying sane as an RU fan is rock bottom expectations.

yes the bubble sucks...mainly due to consolidation but also because the ACC is complete garbage this year and the Big East isnt all that better
No - it would’ve been this if this was how we went down in the BIG tournament. As it stands this is just another loss on a resume that had an At large chance that basically rounded to zero.
19 or 20 wins is not determining factor of bubble, but rather quad metrics.. I agree with our bracketologists that we would have been at the bottom of the bubble with a win tonight, considering Purdue would have been another opportunity. RU should never had let game get to points where refs decide. win would have also given RU another tiebreaker for BTT with most impressive conference win, is tied with team they split with..also shows that with healthy Dylan & Ace they can play with anybody..
We definitely would be in the conversation. I personally think if we won out and win a first round big game we’d have made it.
