We lost that game before and during UMich run when JWill and others wouldn't or couldn't get the ball to Ace.

He got frustrated.. Then forced. Got fewer rebounds, etc...
Sometimes stars need to work harder to get free. The opponent is trying to prevent touches.

Ace played too many minutes. Down tge stretch Ace and Dylan’s tank was on E

The whole run happened when they weren’t playing to even make it a game

Poor roster construction prevents that from being a possibility and you’ve been pounding that point all year

EVERY time they are both on the bench the other team makes a run what is our options

Oh and EO was probably -20 today in +/-

The actual opposite happened. The game turned around when Pike had them both on the bench

Pikes big mistake was not resting them BOTH at the 12 minute mark

If we were 16-12 it would. In reality this game really meant ZERO
Well our resident bracketologist said that we would’ve been back on the Bubble if we would’ve won this game. It absolutely meant something.

This was a SOUL CRUSHING defeat right up there with Iowa/Weiskamp miracle shot, OSU screw job, and Minnesota meltdown.

No other school has its heart ripped out more than we do. NONE.

He was a +11 in the 1st half. Michigan stopped getting OREB when he came in.
Fig I respect your opinions but EO is just too much a liability footwork wise and offensively to say he didn’t hurt us on the floor

The bigger point is that we’re even discussing him as the difference in the frontcourt

Michigan has 3 4/5 types that are interchangeable and we have 0

To be fair he said we would be listed on the bubble. We would've been like the 20th team out though lol.

Still…i had nonudea

The bubble must be real weak

I asked bac a question about a weak bubble because of the power at the top of the major conferences
The consolidation of leagues softens the bubble

More average teams beating each other up look at the b10 there’s 5 really good teams 3 decent teams and a lot of blah

There was no way we were ever making the tournament with less than 19 wins and likely not with less than 20, bac was being dramatic lol. There was a loooooong way to go.
only fair to include them because Ohio State, Baylor and Texas could be trending toward 17-14

No - it would’ve been this if this was how we went down in the BIG tournament. As it stands this is just another loss on a resume that had an At large chance that basically rounded to zero.

19 or 20 wins is not determining factor of bubble, but rather quad metrics.. I agree with our bracketologists that we would have been at the bottom of the bubble with a win tonight, considering Purdue would have been another opportunity. RU should never had let game get to points where refs decide. win would have also given RU another tiebreaker for BTT with most impressive conference win, is tied with team they split with..also shows that with healthy Dylan & Ace they can play with anybody..

We definitely would be in the conversation. I personally think if we won out and win a first round big game we’d have made it.
