Patron: " I think he lost that game on purpose to collect his 15 million " I thought , geez dude have another . Then I started thinking, hmm. That would be a smart business decision. He had to know his time was up . Nah...he's too much of a Husker to do that. Could you fault him ? I can't believe it but...

It was on the defense.

So he got his buddy to throw it to take the heat off himself. I don't believe it, but that would be the arguement. I think on that last GS drive we had two chances to intercept and couldn't hang on. Typical of the SF era: players don't make the plays to win games.

Don’t think Frost is that crafty or anti-nebraska. Much as I dislike his coaching ability, I believe he believes he was gonna win at some point and was doing the right things. I would think more of him if he gave the 7.5 back, but it is likely his last payday and a contract is a contract.

He certainly didn't lose the game on purpose and I would guarantee that, but I would also guarantee he's not sad about getting fired right now because this is his last chance to make that kind of coin for the rest of his life. He will need it.

I don’t think he lost on purpose, but I expect there was a lack of game planning (especially on the defensive side) as Frost and Chins looked past this game to get an early start preparing for Oklahoma. He gambled that he could look past this opponent and lost.

All he had to do is not plan or make adjustments. Boom ! 7.5 million knowing you're going out the door anyway.

It would be plausible if the last 4 years weren't pretty much the same thing, not to mention that, if he was trying to lose, it likely would have ended up in a W.

Ha! They would love to blame it on a lack of game planning, that implies that they have ability. They have, for the much better part of 4 years, sucked. The reason being because they arent capable of operating at a high level in their positions. These guys were so far in over their heads, it isnt even funny.

He did give up some salary for the right to coach three more games. I am glad the boosters came up with the money and did not go cheapskates.

Last payday at that #, but certainly he will be making a few hundred thousand dollars a year on another staff somewhere

Frost couldn’t figure out to win, there’s no way he’d be crafty enough to throw a game without screwing it up.

University leaders are no different than political leaders. They're on the government/taxpayer unlimited payroll. And they conspire together to make millions.

I told you this before Frost was fired. The Oct. 1 date made no difference.

In this case, like many, there are wealthy people behind the scenes making the decisions. The public figures are largely frontmen for them.

It just seemed odd that this year especially, this team never seemed as though they were prepared to play. We all read how Southern dominated that first game and they looked good and fast. But our defense looked out of position and totally unprepared for what they brought. So what was the defensive strategy going into the game. So Chinander seemed totally unprepared but will someone please answer me why at this stage are we praising Busch? Our kicking game ( well punting) seems to have improved but where is the return game?

I honestly don't think Frost is bright enough to come up with that conclusion on his own. I do think he basically quit on the team though.
