Only if his original pitching hand is injured according to major league baseball. But he can't switch back for the rest of the game.

Link.

A player on my son’s high school team pitches both left handed and right handed. But he only has one glove…. Also he is only in mid 70’s not 90’s.

I played with a guy when I was 17 who could pitch both ways. He went to Murrah I believe. He pitched most of our double headers. He ended up going to Hinds but dropped out of school because his dad died and he had to get a job to support his mom and sisters.

I literally have a PhD in neuroscience and I can't figure out the wiring on that guy. That's pretty amazing.

From Perfect Game

2021 National Showcase
Jurrangelo Cijntje is a 2022 BHP/SS with a 5-11 167 lb. frame from Pembroke Pines, FL who attends Champagnat Catholic. Young athletic build, middle infielder look. Unique both armed pitcher who switches back and forth depending on the hitter. Superior stuff right handed, has a fast and compact arm with a low effort release, fastball topped out at 92 mph and has been up to 95 mph in the past. Right handed curveball is a nasty swing/miss pitch at 77 mph with a sharp power break to it. Left handed delivery is smooth and easy with a long and whippy 3/4's arm action. Left handed fastball worked in the 86-88 mph to go with a big sweeping low 70's curveball. Threw strikes from both sides and was seemless in his transition back and forth. Threw right handed to the one switch-hitter he faced. Has a very legit chance to do this at the next level and beyond.

Thats a shame he isn't allowed to switch it up. Imagine him pitching you righty and then you get ready and he throws second pitch lefty. He should at least be allowed to change depending on the batter. They get to switch hit. Let him switch pitch
