Not to be an ***, but how much notice do you need that a website is going to change format? What would you do differently? Did you need time to prepare emotionally? Honestly I'm curious.

Able to navigate fine on my laptop, but on my phone, I keep getting 504 Gateway Timeout messages when I try to access any of the forums, or when I try to logout.
Any suggestions?

This has been my biggest issue so far.
Mine is acting odd (at least on my laptop). I keep getting a 504 Gateway Error. Anyone else getting that? Also trouble getting posts to post.
It is fine on my lap top, I do not use my phone so I have to rely on others opinion, but I do like the option when you give someone a like on their post, I think that new option is great.
I used to be able to copy and paste GIFs here right into the reply...............now I can't.
Feels like a downgrade instead of an upgrade
So far, this is my take as well. I haven't noticed a single improvement that I care about, but have noticed new problems, including the board simply seeming less easy to read now, and repeatedly getting locked out due to "504 gateway error."
Kinda seems like the site broke something that needed no fixing. Everything had been working fine until they decided to muck it up last night.

It always takes a little time to get used to the changing of boards but with each upgrade things do get better despite being different.
When you preview a thread you can now see images/tweets in the preview. People's large signatures are now all reduced to keep from blowing up the replay window. You have way more smilies to chose from. I'm sure there are more we will figure out in time.

This. I don’t mind it as much as others and dark mode looks way better, but you can’t read the blue highlighted names of posts that are being replied to. Needs to be different color 100%.
Same here. I’m not a fan at all. The old format was fine. But, at least ppl get a few more emojis to pick from. Lol
John, ever since the change I have become UKLair.com. I am WayneDougan. When I sign out of UKLair and back into WayneDougan, I revert back to UKLair. Please help!
Okay, try this. Log out, leave the site and clear your cookies and cache for this site then come back and log in again.
Everybody hated the previous format when it first changed. It didn't take long before no one wanted to go back. It will be fine.

I don't see a toggle width button, either on my desktop..
I am on the chrome browser.
I do see the Rivals light button.
The "back to threads" button is gone but the link at the bottom gives same result.
If I am reading a thread and not signed in, it goes to the forums list page when I sign in. I have to find my way back to where I was.
I feel confident that you guys will tune it up as
much as you can.
I do not see any choice on fonts in my preferences. Just size choices of small, med, large or extra large.

JR, please ask the to fix the emoji's... and add a "thumbs down" next to the "thumbs up"....this in its own right could stop a lot of the arguments on the boards...

In the old format, when you go back to threads page but click on a page you have already read, you went to the last comment you read.
Not for me with new format.
You go to the OP and have to click to the page you last read and then bottom of the page and scroll up.
Awkward.

It still takes me to the next unread message just like before. I listed some of the changes above along with easier ways to share on social media and more modern look.

I signed out. I ran Glary utilities, cCleaner, chrome clear your browsing data.
Still when I click on this thread when signing in I go to the op.

Exactly what I told the wife today. I’ll probably get used to it. Right now, though, I’m not really feeling it. [laughing]
This is the checkerboard uniform of message boards.
Seems less user friendly. Do not like that you have to do extra steps to post a picture or video. Upgrades are supposed to make things better and easier......right? I'd rather have the other format back. Doubt you will actually do that so I'm not sure why you're asking for input.
In dark mode you cannot see who people are responding to. Very annoying. Not something you can get used to either so give me a moment here without being told my eyes will adjust to neon blue on black font size 1.

I HATE THE LAYOUT OF THE NEW BOARD. How can you call this an improvement? We can't even see how many views a thread has. PLEASE GO BACK TO THE OLD BOARD!!!!!!!!
