I am not too familiar with Rupp. Are there any recommendations to where you park? I've parked further away before for free. Just looking to get out quicker to get the kids home. Thanks

LexLive parking garage across from Rupp usually has availability if you get there early enough. Probably your quickest and closest option. It's paid but all the parking right around the arena is

Getting out quickly will depend on where you are headed after. I usually park at the library garage. It's a short walk from Rupp, but that also means it is far enough away that I don't deal with the traffic directly around Rupp afterward. I should note that when I leave I head east on Vine/Richmond Rd. and don't have traffic issues. I'm sure it would not be as convenient if (for example) you need to head out Newtown Pike to get on the interstate.

Get there 1.5-2 hours before tip and park in the lot behind Rupp. $25 but easy to get in and out of. After the game be prepared to be detoured due to closed roads and expect 20-30 minutes longer leaving than coming due to that. Enjoy man!
