This is absurd. No reason for 2 people to be so triggered by others thoughts. Especially when rhose thoughts are well wishes to others and their Lord.

You can talk about many vile things on this board, but soon as God or Jesus are mentioned, certain posters just freak out and go into a weird state of panic. Pretty sad honestly but its almost par for the course in todays society.
Yeah the same people who have no trouble cursing out a player’s mother or father when things don’t go the way they want them to. All of a sudden any mention of God/Jesus is crossing the line.

Acts 2:38- Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”

Agree, Frank. I've always been the guy that, well, if I didn't like something---I just left it the fck alone. Just b/c I don't like it, doesn't mean someone else won't. If a thread topic on here bothers you---Skip it. It ain't hard.

True, but being a believer "just in case" ain't the right reason.
Eternity is a difficult concept to grasp, being something that has no end. Unless the human element is radically changed in an afterlife, wouldn’t eternity get boring? It is the finite nature of life that makes so many moments special.

I am a Christian, and while I do a poor job of turning the other cheek, and not letting kids going elsewhere making me bitter, I do stick up for Christ. I do listen to Christian music every day. Maybe one day I will have the courage and patience to read the scripture more thoroughly and frequently. I feel like I am letting the LORD down.

You and everyone else to varying degrees. That’s one of billions of reasons he died and rose again. We simply can’t please God without Jesus. We can’t do anything apart from him. Even then we will fall short. Don’t be too hard on yourself but strive to grow closer to Him.
