The football players and security join together to light those that came onto the field? Or did they join them?
To tell you the truth, I don’t know. Once I saw the defund police/black lives matter/Palestinian propaganda I stopped the video clip. I don’t get it, how do these a holes figure they are helping their causes by disrupting someone else’s pleasurable experience. I hated them before. And I hate them more today.
Apparently an Iowa fan ran down on the field and tackled someone. Doesn't really help much, only makes them look like victims/martyrs.

In an effort not to offend anyone security just let them continue with the protest. I hope this doesn't become a new thing among protesters. Any other time security would have tackled them and led them off the field but due to what they were protesting it appears everyone was too frightened to remove them from the field.

That’s a ridiculous statement. 15 minutes today, 30 minutes next time. People go to see the game, if they want political propaganda they tune in to a variety of media outlets. And 15 minutes is huge if it’s a National TV game. They should be prosecuted just like the drunks that disrupt the games. But, we know that won’t happen here.
Anyone that comes on the field, they are told to leave immediately and if they dont leave, they will be taken off bu force. Pretty simple.
This was 100% staged. It lasted several minutes. We've got frickin mask mandates all over b1g. This is at the home of b1g. Where was security which is mandated by the b1g.
Those frickin protestors were on the field forever. Refs walked off. That should have been automatic delay of game on NW. I'm telling you it was staged. No way anyone gets on Tom Osborne field. They be tackled and escorted AND booed immediately

You might need to look up the definition of "protest". We've had police protests in my city that have disrupted people attempting to go about on their business. It can be annoying but it is a right of all citizens.
Of course the protesters on the field are subject to arrest and some sort of fine. I think most participating understand that and are willing to pay that price to speak their piece.
If the protesters were demonstrating to "support our troops" or something would you be as upset? I doubt many in this thread would be all up in arms. Not to mention that EVERY sporting event is already delayed by 3 minutes for "political propaganda".
I disagree. My wife is a left wing liberal. I am a right wing conservative. While we disagree on many issues, we have common ground on others. I hate the progressives, she hates Trump. I don’t like a lot of things about Trump, She doesn’t like a lot of things about the progressives. But we are defined by those terms regardless of definitions.
I could care less about what you are doing to disrupt the event. You should be charged and prosecuted. And I would bet just as many would condem their actions. This is not about Support our Troops, or Save the Whales though. It’s about the a holes who interrupted THIS event. I don’t need to look up anything about definition of protest. I’m all in on these freaks outside the gates with their propaganda. Could care less.. I’m also for jailing the fools that shut down highways and byways. Stand on the side of the road and wave your propaganda. But blocking emergency vehicles or critical deliveries (organs blood, medical teams) is selfish and immoral. They won’t pay, if they are fined. And I doubt it. The fines will be paid by the political machines they represent .

Nope, anyone that's on the field that isnt part of the game can be told to leave, and if they dont, drag them off. It is pretty simple.
Your sympathy for them is touching. They can do whatever the hell they want outside of the stadium, just like everyone else who has an agenda outside of playing the football game.
