I think this show is actually a pretty good Will Ferrell delivery device. It helps that I had low expectations but I really enjoyed the first season.

I was worried it was going to be him not being funny because it was on Netflix. I was crying laughing within the first couple minutes.
I'll be camping outside Best Buy for one like it's the new PS3 in 2006.
Turned it off when they did that dance thing about 5 minutes into the first episode.
Not a golf fan but really enjoyed it. Was hoping he would go all the way but the way they ended it worked too. Doubt it gets a season 2.
The preview trailers didnt do much for me. I love WF but idk, maybe just not for me.
In the 00s he was. He had one helluva run up until around 08 or so.
But after that it seemed like his schtick wore out hard. Most of what he’s been in since then has been quite disappointing.
His best moment was calling Mike Ditka juice box boy in Kicking and Screaming.
I liked him in the other guys with Marky mark and Get Hard with Kevin hart post 2008 jut otherwise I agree. He was peak from late 90s to late 2000s.
Thats my thoughts. I like a lot of his stuff, but this didnt look all that great, and he seems to be running on empty lately. But maybe it'll get better.
Theres so much stuff to watch that at this point, I need to hear how season 1 of a show is for me to even bother.
I like Will Ferrell and I like stupid comedies. With that being said, that is the dumbest thing I’ve ever watched.
Yeah hes always toed that line and toed it extremely well. I loved Semi-Pro.. but then Blade of Glory didnt hit that well for me.
Wilson is not only funny, but a great actor to go with it. Love his movies also, and I don't watch a lot of TV, other then college basketball.
Probably because most of his movies are almost the same thing but I’ve never laughed harder in a theater than I did for Talladega Nights.
My wife won't watch this ****. But I will on the plane for work trips - starting next week. Stupid comedy but Will Farrell is pretty funny. Excellent to give me chuckles as I keep the flight attendant bringing me Buffalo Trace.
My all time favorite WF movie. "All you did was make a hot daughter Chip".
He's also got one hell of a honker on em. That thing is huge. He's awesome tho.
I tried watching this last night based upon this thread. I didn't care for it. I like WF in Talledega Nights and especially in Step Brothers but am not a fan in general.

Yeah, I totally cringed at that moment. I stayed with it and tried. Made it about 2.5 episodes. Just not funny imho.
And no doubt this is that same thing. But if you like that, it’s worth a watch. I enjoyed it.
Will Ferrell will never consistently reach the humors heights of his SNL skits, Zoolander, and Anchorman. That era is over. He's broken.
I would slightly disagree. He was every bit as good in Elf, Talladega Nights and Stepbrothers …which came years after those you mentioned.
But, yeah, his run as comedy’s hot thing pretty much ended with Stepbrothers in 08. Folks grew quite tired of his routine after that. Hollywood has continued to offer him lots of roles, but none of them resonated with the public like the stuff he did before then.
