I retired last July and prior to that time, I had been on here for 10 years with abut 350 posts. Since I have the time, this is my 1100th post and I'm having the time of my life. I especially love the tongue-in-cheek and the innuendo type humor.I also like the one's that aren't afraid to call one's out when they post incorrect info or something ,simply in error. Thanks to all for brightening up a retirees day.

There are some threads on this that are absolutely hilarious. Having been on the receiving end a couple of times myself. Gotta take your medicine when it's your turn.

This my friend, is a very minute part of my day. Kinda like Quigley: " I never said I couldn't use a handgun, I just said I never had much use for one."
You may rest assured I am. Just enjoy firing it back.I seldom post when mad because one has a tendency to say things they wished they wouldn't have. It's all in fun.

Congratulations

Now, if posting on an anonymous message board is the time of your life, we really need to get you outta the house. :sunglasses:

glad to have you on here, Tim. It can get a little nutty sometimes, but there are some really good people here
and yeah - you need to get out more [winking]

[cheers]

Tim, I retired 21 years ago, and I'm still trying to catch up on fishing and hunting. I love trout fishing below Cumberland, Marlin fishing in LaPas, Mexico and turkey hunting all over the US.
I spend my winters in Naples and there are about 100 of us that get together at Johnny Malloy's in Bonita Springs and enjoy the CATS in basketball. If you make it to Florida during basketball season, we would love to have you join us. Most of us are retired and just having fun.

Thanks Willie. I sent you a message telling you I was from Sandy Hook and we used to play Hazel Green. Does that bring back any memories to you?

Tim, I can remember when Hazel Green Academy always had a good team. I graduated from Wolfe Co. in 1957, then attended EKU and finished up at UK, prior to flying in the Air Force during Namn. I still own the old family farm in Wolfe County, but I live in Louisville.
I still love the mountains, and the people up there are GREAT, even though it has changed a lot since I left. Prior to going in the Air Force, I taught school in Morgan County, and use to hustle pool there, and all over Eastern Kentucky.
Eventually our paths will cross, if you attend the football games, we will get together.

This is how I mix in work as well as keeping up with UK Athletics. Now that you are retired you might just use the single monitor setup. That way you can stay active....while following the BBN online.

Elliott, if you love Rupp Rafters you should take a visit to The Paddock. There are several on that board who will wax poetically with you about this subject. You'll have to be a little more transparent and lay all of your feelings out so they can reply in kind.
