Was going to ED to watch their game with WRH but by the time I got to Kinston @dogs79 called and said it had been moved to tomorrow also. So it’s disappointing. Could have gone to Croatan but I didn’t know they were playing until I saw @rambbq had texted me about it. Croatan is going to have a good season this year.

The older grandson graduated. He played rb. I tried to get him to move to Vanceboro! He has a younger grandson there now playing baseball.

Ok. I tuned in just in time then. I saw the busted play touchdown, figured there would be holding on it. That crappy punt killed WC at the end. I wish I had woke up from my nap in time to watch the whole game, seems like it was a good one.

We gave up 2 tds on special teams. We had 2 called back. Had a team captain commit a stupid personal foul and that was the killer for us. Painful loss but this is a time for learning.

I’ll add #3 for Havelock is a special kid. Great athlete that is fun to watch. I love high school football and was excited to see the season start. Our Cuthbertson #18 and Havelocks #3 are why I love this game!!

It was either 38-35 or if they got the conversion it was 40-35 I don’t remember. That personal foul just weighed on my mind. I’ll ask.

I was proud of our kids for coming back from 2 scores down. There is a lot of good things to take from this game. I think Havelock will have a good season. They are a good team. They did lose a good lineman tonight. They are saying he should be ok. I thought it was a good game too. It was a little harder to enjoy here. With 3 minutes to go I thought our coach would get a big win to start his career here. What a terrible punt.

honestly 5a n 4a seems like its gonna be loaded this year for playoffs maybe 6a as well its gonna be a fun year to watch i dont think havelock will be all that this year they lost alot of talent and are kinda young i can see them making the playoffs maybe but a second round exit it depends on how they progress throughout the year good luck west craven on the rest of the year

Yea we would be if not for a few stupid penalties. Our season ended last year because of an offsides penalty. You would think they would get it! We gonna get over there to see you one day.
