Launch angle and exit velocity are killing baseball a slow death. I use to love watching MLB, but it’s frustrating to watch whiff after whiff after whiff with a HR sprinkled in. The stolen base is a lost art and fundamental facets of the game like hitting behind a runner to advance him from 2nd to 3rd with 1 out have been abandoned. If hitters don’t get their perfect pitch, they’d assume take a call 3rd strike than foul off a pitch to stay alive. Sickens me.
