I’ve thought for weeks that 20 was the magic number. I didn’t like our chances had we lost 5 of our last 6 and finished at 19. Were in and no one can convince me otherwise. But there are still those out there who say probably.. let’s call them palmtards. Has there ever been a 20 win team who finished above 500 in a major conference (I realize were probably the best conference ) who didn’t make the tournament? I’m doubting it, but I’m interested.

Definitely! Everything is relative though. Conference could be a down year. I believe Nebraska had 20+ a couple years ago and got left out while finishing above .500 in conference play. The B1G was down that year though

The B1G is definitely not down this year, not with 8 teams in last week's AP top 25. It seems completely unchallenged as the #1 conference in the land this year and will hopefully prove that with a great performance in the NCAAs. With a 20-game conference season - is there any other major conference doing that? - B1G teams have all been in wars for most of the season.

Yeah, felt bad for 2017-18 Nebraska. 22-10, 13-5. Even with a "down" year for the conference, damn, I posted at the time, "imagine if that was us?" Well, I guess we don't have to anymore.
