Everything I've read about Walker was that he was very well liked by the coaches and players. Not sure what he brings to the table as far as W/L's however.
He only made $90k so if they really wanted to keep him, they could have made it work. Think we are bringing in coaches like Mickey that have better connections to the players of course unless they want to refinance a mortgage or something
Joseph has nothing to do with his position. He served the same role with frost at UCF. They will hire another guy at that position. Ron Brown had that role under Frost prior and he was replaced with some quotes suggesting he didn’t necessarily connect with todays players citing player defections including Wandale
Ok. Never said they wouldn’t bring in a new guy. Sorry if my language was a little ambiguous. Just saying for that salary Huskers could have tried to keep him if they really wanted to.
Also just pointing out that our new coaches have much better track records of being more involved with their players. Mickey said it himself and pointed that out when he said he’s going to be heavily involved with his guys and coach lubick was way more laid back on it.
My thinking is they need someone to still be there for player realtionship but someone to also emphasize on NIL too. And coaches having more of a personal realtionship with their guys will allow this roll more time on NIL
I’m pretty sure “the dude” had some role in NIL. He does in Florida. If he did at UNL, he needed to be let go. Huskers strategy for NIL is ****. We need better minds. We can do better then Runza and Dorth Lynch Salad dressing
If you are thinking NIL is only good for Business to end consumer, you really don’t have the mind for the endless possibilities you can do with NIL.

Any other Mista Cools roaming the sidelines? We don’t need anymore unnecessary baggage in the program. Didn’t he get rid of his hunting buddy last year? The one dude that nobody had a clue what he really did?
