Nothing wrong with analytics. It's a great tool. Relying on it souly is the problem.

Just because someone claims to be an "analytics guy" doesn't mean they're competent. Two things can be true: (1) Analytics are great and (2) the people you have interpreting them have no idea what they're doing.
