Has Riley Not Been Happy Yet?

Just curious. I listen to other coaches and the ones who are getting stuff trending upwards and most of them are not happy every so often about a practice. Has Coach Riley not been happy at all about any practice since he has been here? Only thing I ever catch is how he is very happy about practice and loves these players. Is it just plain coaches speak at this point? Just thinking back and wondering if anyone can recall him not being happy about anything other than losing a game.

It is what it is. So long as we just take it one game at a time and give a full 60 minutes of effort, the score will take care of itself.

Was wondering this same thing the other day. Never heard Riley saw practice wasn't good enough or the effort wasn't there. Hear it all the time other places, but maybe they are having excellent practices? Or we don't know what good/bad practices look like? You would sure hope so though.

"Yea be more upset, like Bo"

Funny we find his contentment as a sign of lacking passion, drive, anger, desire....

We put ourselves in this position.

Hold the piss pants. Just HONESTY, thanks. That is what Nebraskans want to hear.
From a team that is so far down, one would think everything not be so peachy All The Time, that's all. Maybe it can be. I tend to think like Ynot though. Maybe they don't know what bad practices or lack of effort looks like. Is Coach not shooting for the moon or not trying hard enough? Is it lack of effort on his end? Hard to figure out.
Just wondered if anyone had seen where he wasn't happy about something.

Cue Herm Edwards "You play the game to WIN" comment. Rule #1 in any non youth related sport...

The players gotta love HCMR's mentality as you never have a bad day. On the flip side, imo it takes a bad day to know a good day....
