Has Pope regained his fastball....?

[ParadiseKy]

With what he's about to pull off? Just a few days ago according to some of the drama queens here, we were going to have to forfeit the season. I think it's safe to say rumors of our demise have been greatly exaggerated. Big blue is back

[Ash Williams]

Who signed?

[Dreklie]

how are we back? because we have Stokes and Wright visiting? We are back because of that?

[moses1uk]

Dark Pope

[MidseasonTweak]

Wait until we land them first..

[gbl97]

Yep, that settles any debate, in my mind.

I will agree with this once he signs a top 5 talent lineup. I think
He will do it. But let’s celebrate after he pulls in
Wright
Diallo
Stokes
Freeman
And then another guard off the bench and big off the bench.

[cornbreadnmilk]

OP you are such a troll.

[BBNUK4Life]

Hard to regain something you never had. However, he does have the opportunity to get 2 studs and prove he can recruit. Until that happens, I will remain skeptical. Also, we are in no shape, form or fashion back. That's delusional to think such a thing!

[rick64]

Wasn't aware Pope even had a fastball. Let's just see how the next few days unfolds.

Go all in on those 4 and that will be 10 players on the roster.

[CELTICAT]

Facebook is saying we’re getting Wright, Stokes, and Muurinen.

very pie in the sky stuff

It's more like a batting practice fastball these days

Dark Pope

Let’s say Darth Pope…and I love it! Is Pope bout to deliver some monstrous F Us to the hatas? All aboard the Darth Pope train lol?

Dark Pope

Hopefuly it's not Dark Nope on Tuesday.

Is it Pope? or the massive bags of cash?
These days, who can tell.

Seems unlikely that we'd get both Diallo and Wright

Facebook is the number one place to get the truth be it sports or politics facebook is never wrong.

My flatearther uncle can attest to that.

[BMR1987]

Pope's problem has never been his ability to get his foot in the door, it's been his ability to seal the deal.

First two seasons he blunders at the finish line with the elite guys? Okay, fine, live and learn. He tried to sell too little to too many and he knows that doesn't work for the truly big fish. He knows what it takes now: Big time minutes guarantees + big time NIL guarantees. Play and pay the studs, moneyball the rest.

[BellyBall]

Agree. Just close these guys. Wright and Stokes would be a nice start

[Goingfor9]

Pope doesn’t have a fastball. Never has. His entire gig is to throw junk and hope to get lucky.

[Blue Jesus]

If Wright, Stokes, and Freeman sign, pretty doesn't matter who else we add to the team it would be a successful portal.

[KyKevin]

Who gives a s.hit, we're playing basketball

[WCSPlayedWRInHS]

He can’t discover something that was never there. He may have stumbled around, broke his arm and gained a fastball like rookie of the year though. Let’s hope

[BBNinSCar]

I would not be completely surprised if Pope pulls off a major coup. He is a smart guy and I believe a sincere guy, who has learned a lot from last season.
I would also really like to see a Sophmore Moreno playing with some real talent.

[Static Cat]

Before everyone gets all giddy and starts swapping handjobs.. remember we have to sign them!

[Loucatfan30]

based upon his track record I bet het gets them all. money talks and bs walks.

[Anon1739778738]

He will miss on all of them they will not play for him. Pope was blackballed by agents and top players early on with his rah,rah antics and front of the jersey bull_ _ _ _. That's why they don't commit and use ky to leverage higher offers.

[JAC71]

These days, who can tell.

No one in their right mind would give that kind of money away to be wasted again

I don’t like it but that’s just a good an excuse as I’ve read on here

Sounds like thee might be positive motion. The Banner Boys house in Lexington is starting some fun. Donnie tweeted out something like “Why am I not up there?” And now guess what he’s got one too.

This is the fun stuff we need.

[L.O.D.]

How can he get BACK something he never had? Also exactly who signed? Stokes still imo ends up at Kansas and Wrights commitment i think is tied to Stokes . Diallo maybe but I doubt he comes here if Wright signs arent both top 10 portal pgs? I would love both but cant see it.

You're being sarcastic right?

Chill on the glazing, one recruit at a time. He still has to coach the team, too. So theres that.

[BlueManchu]

We might get them. . . but we might not.
