I cant see why not.

The rules he broke at Indiana are ones that suddenly became allowable a few years later.
And he has very much outworked his mistakes once the show cause was over.

He made tons of extra phone calls. Phone calls. He wasn't banned for paying players, he wasn't banned for covering up rapes, the rules he broke were based on the volume of phone calls made.
And again, what he did is largely legal now.

Great guy. Loves baseball too. Got thrown under the bus at OU to save football and then was thrown under the bus at IU because he wasn’t there first choice and the alumni didn’t want him.

He spent his show/cause time as an assistant in the NBA. Would be a solid hire.

Also, not that it matters, but he’s Native American, which I believe would make him the first Native American head coach in the SEC.
