I'd love to see this happen at a blueblood game with the score tied at half. Would get interesting between the townies and the libs.
I work closely with climate scientists, know more than most about the issues, and our future is dire without direct changes that either decrease Co2 or air temperature,...especially if you live on the coastline, fight for the navy, or are involved in anything to do with international trade. That being said these sort of protests are pointless and defeat the purpose. How about you take 24 hours off from using social media? Google is the biggest user of fossil fuels in the U.S...stop using youtube for 24 hours and watch them scramble. The great thing about our future is fossil fuels, hydrocarbon power plants, are actually quite expensive relative to newer renewable technology. People are going to realize they can cut industrial costs dramatically by investing in nearby wind, solar, tidal power...hell...35% of Lincoln's energy is already coming from renewable sources. Conflict or fear creates innovation or evolution. We do not really have the need for world war to drive innovation so I suppose fighting against a hostile climate can fill in...some of the new technology being created is just amazing.

Why doesn't anyone talk about the elephant in the room, too many people? Make a world law people can have only one child and in one generation....problem solved. One of the biggest climate alarmists I know has 7 kids and like 16 grand kids (so far).

Nuclear. The only way to go.

Are your scientist friends/acquaintances doing research?

Doesnt matter if you believe or not in climate change, this wasnt the place to protest, people paid to go see a football game, and were forced to deal with this agenda, delay etc. Society cant be held up at any point because of the whim of others.

Doesn't matter. They're the only ones with free speech and expression

The younger generation is going to change the world for the better. This however seems extremely misguided

I live 1500 ft above sea level in omaha, so Im not worried bout global warming. but I'll buy a electric truck if they cost less than gas and can go 500 miles at least per charge and can charge in 15 minutes

Yet the nutjobs that push this farce of "we only have 12 yr left!" choose to spend much of it on message boards. Shouldn't you be building a Doomsday Bunker?

Not agreeing with this at all. Most of the things the younger generation believe in will end in loss of personal and economic freedom and will leave this country a bleaker and less dynamic place. Climate justice etc is political hogwash. also geologists do not agree with “climate scientists” on global warming causes.

Man it's a big world out there and lots of amazing places are going to be under water. We owe it try to make steps that might at least slow it down.

I say we take away your job and see if that helps climate change even if we have no proof it might. How do you feel about that?
