It gets to a point where this "precautionary thing" has to end. Read yesterday where Giles said he is 100% healthy so why not get him out there? You can only get healed up to a certain extent. Time for him to be a big boy now that he is in the NBA and find out if he is good to go or not. Going into the draft everyone knew that there was a risk for whatever team that took him. Gonna baby him for another 2 years or what??
The guy is 19 years old. Those stating that it is "now or never" need to just go away. The reason he was drafted late in the first round was every team knew he was a long-term investment.
Hence why the Kings drafted him, they aren't going anywhere these next few years anyway plus they already have a few serviceable young big's. Probably won't be seeing or hearing much about Harry these next couple years but I still think he finds his niche in the league and gets a second contract.

Agreed, he's 19, what's the rush?Harry only needs to play full out when it matters. Except for getting more skilled and stronger, this year is meaningless for the Kings. Harry doesn't need game action until December. He needs to exercise and go through the motions until then.
Some might counter with, "Why the caution?" The answer is obvious. A third tear might be the end of the road for Harry, so all measures must be taken to make sure the knees are perfect before going for it 100%. His peak if healthy will be ages 23-29. That's four years before it's worth any risk at all.Agreed, he's 19, what's the rush?

I say let the team's management decide. He's their investment.I disagree you have to play eventually. The surgery was ten months ago. Time to get going.
A lot of people just don't get it.

My guess? It is summer league. Don't want him to get hurt before training camp because we already know he is making the team.It gets to a point where this "precautionary thing" has to end.
