Harrisonburg is good, probably a top 20 4A team. They are now 10-6, with 5 of those losses coming on the road (home loss to Handley). Harrisonburg is 10-4 in their last 14 games. I'm not surprised they beat Lee, but that Harrisonburg had their highest scoring game this season with 79 points. Mayberryite said in another post that defense travels. Lee must have brought their average defense this season with them, but then left it on the bus!Didn't see this one coming at all. Is Harrisonburg good or was this just a disastrous game for Lee?
Honestly, the expectation for Lee is higher than what I think they will achieve this year... The physical tools are there but they just don't have 'it' yet in my opinion. They are good and athletic, but they aren't great at this point in the year, which may be contrary to popular belief. That said, they can compete with the elite 2A teams if they put together 4 solid quarters, but that's where the trouble is right now, I don't know that this team can play at a high level all 4 quarters consistently. I hope they prove me wrong and make me look like a fool, but a 3rd place conference 36 finish would not surprise me right now, although I think a 2nd place finish is most likely.Didn't see this one coming at all. Is Harrisonburg good or was this just a disastrous game for Lee?
