Did nobody else catch vern saying this? It really pissef me off at the time. Kinda forgot about it after the fact, but remembered when I started re-watching the game. Just curipus if something happenef off camera or if vern is completely delusional?

The announcers had no idea where the game was played because it was on the hardwood.

I rewound it and it wasn't obvious. I remember thinking, "I'll need to go back and look for that later."

I am often surprised when threads like this get no traction.

I rewatched it again yesterday and went back and forth five or six time. The only thing was Harrison put one arm around the Cincy players waste. But it was just after the rebound had been secured so there is always contact. They went on like it should be reviewed as a technical or something horrible.

Both Vern and Sparnackle threw a lot of little barbs out that I considered negative. I don't know why they did that and I wish we would get some good play by play and color guys instead of the crap that CBS sends us.

I also rewound that part and saw nothing flagrant either way. Maybe Vern's dementia was rubbing off on Spanarkle. The way they went on about it you would think that Aaron was an axe murderer.

I re-watched the game last night and I heard him say that too, but I did not see anything Harrison did. Lunquist and Sparnakle sucked for both teams.

the video is awful, but here's a gif. to me it looked like he had his hands on the ball for a tie up, then the cincy player pulled it away. nothing more.

THIS. Call it a foul if you want (though it wasn't), but "grabbed the player and pretty dramatically threw him to the side???" What the hell are they watching??? Verne has lost it. I bet even Cincy fans are like "that's nothing compared to the rest of the game."

It almost seems like the media is trying to create a story line that UK plays dirty.

The refs let UC basically turn the game into a street fight in the second half, it's ridiculous. No other game over the weekend even remotely got that rough.

Yes, I mentioned this exact thing in one of the post game threads about how bad Lundquist and Spanarkel were. Lundquist was like, "OH MY, DID YOU SEE THAT?! Harrison just threw one of the Cincy players to the floor!" Spanarkel said that yes he'd seen it, too.

Just terrible.
