He was outstanding. None of the guards played well in this one.
He should have shot the Tech free throws. He had a great game.
Garza is very good and could be the player of the year but he celebrates after every single time he scores.
Very, very annoying but he is very, very good anyway.
That said, the refs give him the benefit of the doubt every time the ball is near him.
He is a scoring machine, and put up 28 points in 3/4 of a game before we figured out how to effectively deny him the ball. His last points were at 11:30 mark in the second half.
He also is very physical, and that doesn't get as much of a free pass away from Carver.
7-30 shooting from our guards will not get it done against a high octane Iowa offense

It didn’t seem like one of Garza’s best games but then you look at the stats & holy hell!
Rut defended him good all game imo & he still somewhat quietly put up crazy stats.
Harper was outstanding tonight. He did it totally within the flow of the offense.
As for other comments, yes, yes, our guards had a tough time tonight. But this team has so vastly exceeded expectations. RU simply isn't an elite shooting team.

When he started making those threes I right away started hoping he is in the NBA next season.

No argument from me but he still picked up a charge or two in which his foot is clearly still sliding over as they showed the replay. He gets the benefit of a lot of calls in that gym that he shouldn't.
