Yes, Thiam and Bullock were running constantly with no break off curls or picks and taking jumpers and than driving to the basket, As soon as one was done the other followed. It was quite intense. Doorson was working on shots near the basket with Coach Young working him almost non stop. Omoruyi was doing some of the same as well as taking jumpers of about 10-15 feet.

knights1212, Thanks for these insights into the guys working hard to get better. I'm always confused about some people here who seem to suggest that guys can't get better in the offseason......lots of people talk about Bullock transferring after playing 2 minutes in a redshirt year. Give the guy chance !!! Every team needs role players and Pikiell and staff will find that role for them.

His role may be being a tough physical guy that puts a body on guys to beat 'em up for 8 minutes a game. I'm sure Pikiell knows what he wants from each guy.

It is confusing. So many speculate he might transfer but I don't know as he used a red shirt this past season. If he transferred to a D-1 team he would have to sit out another year. I actually hope he stays and can contribute.

The problem with our team is that we're filled with role players. We need higher quality players that can fit into roles.

Pans, as a famous person I misremember once said, A great journey begins with a single step. Did you expect three and four star players would be flocking to our campus after the forgettable (hopefully) Hill-Rice-Jordan years? Go look at the records of any coaches taking over a down program--takes time if you play by the rules.

Not sure we should read anything into Bullock working out at the RAC? A few weeks ago, there was video posted of Laurent working out at the RAC.

I have zero idea if he plans to stay or not...just saying a workout isn't any indicator of anything.
Indicator he is working on his game and trying to improve

I stopped at the RAC before going to the baseball game today. Thiam and Bullock were working hard with Coach Hobbs on one end of the court and Omoruyi and Doorson were working hard on the other end with Coach Young.

Thanks for your posts in this thread. Love the updates and appreciate them!

Role players serve a useful purpose if there are also difference makers/shooters that can carry the team to victory.

There was talk that Doorson would be having foot surgery in the offseason, anyone know if this is the case?

Looking forward to seeing his further development now that he has all that weight off. He had some nice spurts this season.

That is actually a great question. He was definitely supposed to be having it but something must have changed if he is practicing, as they would have done it right after the season I would think. Maybe he was reevaluated and they decided he didn't need it.

Hope Bullock stays. I think he will thrive this year

Bullock seems like a great kid. At 6 4, he was 20 pounds less than a 280 pound 7 0 gettys.

Something needs to give. Sure, he was utilized in HS at the four, but no matter how much of a force he is, at 6 4 he will be at a disadvantage.

He has to lose some lbs.

I just hope he's jacking a 1000 3s a day.

Bottom line is he's a baller.....nothing wrong with a Charles Barkley type
