Thank goodness we don’t have to travel. All the kids and spouses and grandbaby will be at our house. Gonna be a wonderful Christmas time!
I'm gonna need plenty of prayers. The wife's mom and her husband are arriving on Christmas Day and staying for 2 weeks. I'll be working late, real late.
Looking forward to leftover turkey sandwiches with Dad.

Merry Christmas, everyone! Going to be very Christmas-y in these parts of the country. Expecting up to a foot of snow later in the week and single-digit temp highs. Only nine more days until Florida and the golf course. I’m counting down the hours, not days.

Wish I could. I'm the deputy Mayor of the City I live in. We have our budget vote on Wednesday, so I'm sure I'll be watching a recorded version of the game. There's always a big turnout in a City of only 9,000 people, haha.
Where you going in Fla? We rented a Condo in Hollywood, right by the boardwalk. I am planning on maybe doing a fishing charter and airboat Everglades tour while we are there. Gonna be a blast!!

Exactly...that's why I booked a condo right next to the boardwalk......I rented a car that will probably end up being a big waste of money. "Who pooped on the Couch?" 14 Y/O son's comment while getting ready to head out to the bus 5 minutes ago. This holiday present was from a dog that had been walked twice by 5:30 this AM and is not the 16 + Y/O Black Lab, who had already pooper her bed and gotten the wife up at 4:30. You guys have your demons (in-laws) and I have mine.
