"Goose pours in 41."

That classic phrase honors Kentucky Wildcats basketball legend Jack "Goose" Givens, who famously poured in 41 points against the Duke Blue Devils. [1]
His unforgettable performance on March 27, 1978, secured a 94–88 victory. It brought Kentucky its fifth national championship and earned Givens the NCAA Final Four Most Outstanding Player award. He was practically unstoppable that night, shooting a spectacular 18-of-27 from the floor. To this day, it stands as one of the most iconic individual performances in college basketball history.

Jack is a true UK fan. Was in College Station this past weekend with his crew. Love that about him. He also seems like a genuinely nice man.
