BTW, Hancock struck out looking in the bottom of the first with a man on base to end the inning. Maybe he’ll have better luck as the game goes on. I know we all hope so.

Good defensive effort by Hancock at first base in the top of the third inning. His foot came off the base and the runner was safe but Hancock didn’t let the ball get away. Credit where credit is due.
