It’s a fact Hagans did not play very well. He hit a lot of free throws late in the game and finally made a few layups. Scoring is only part of the game. Six turnovers is not acceptable and his defense was atrocious most of the night. Now Nick played great. He’s the only reason we got a W.

He showed up in the stat line.. but im not sure he's good for running our offense. His first step is vicious and he can drive it. But it doesnt seem like he has that ability to get others involved.

Its unfair to compare him to Wall, Bledsoe, Teague, Knight, Fox, SGA, Ulis.. but at the end of the day, hes still a step off from those guys.

I hope the poor defense is injury related, but I’m not sure. I felt like around right after the Georgia game last year, his defense was severely overrated. He has trouble keeping ball handlers in front of him which results in all kinds of defensive breakdowns. Happened a ton February all the way through March last season. There were some games I felt like IQ did a much better job keeping the opposing team’s PG in front of him than did Hagans.
