Wild...team has the same result without Hagans as they do without him. A close win. A couple bounces and they would have beaten UT too.

Guess that’s what my it’s a team sport

It is obvious many posters do not understand Kentucky basketball. We are UK is more than a catchy slogan, it is a way of life and why we are the #1 program of all time. This was not the first time our team has dug out of a grave as dirt was being thrown in our face.

Go CATS

Good lord Derek is good people. The thread really wasn’t even that bad. In time it did appear we needed a solid hagans. He’s wrong but it doesn’t matter. Don’t do what the pumps do, keep it in perspective.

We could have used Hagans in this game. His absence was not a positive. Our team still found a way to win against great odds and adversity, however, which is encouraging going forward. That is my takeaway.

How many times over the years have we seen someone post while UK is losing only to come back and win? I think that was a great win for the 7 guys who got it done. Maybe it will open Hagans eyes. I think we are a better team with him, but we showed today we can win without him. On the road. Brooks and Juzang in double figures really stepped up.

Exactly. A significant part of the comeback happened with Immanuel Quickley fouled out of the game. Does anyone think that we’re therefore better without Quickley? Of course not. That would be dumb.

I could not be happier that we won. After the UT debacle, we badly needed a win like this to get everyone’s minds right.

But we were worse without Hagans today, much worse, and that should be pretty obvious to anyone who watched.

What does it matter? It’s a stupid thread on a message board. Did someone kidnap your kids and hold a gun to their head? Tell you if you don’t personally attack thread starters in games the kids get it? Corona to be unleashed on your church if we don’t have a public lynching?

This crap turns good posters into the Bass’s and KL’s of the world.

As Yogi said, "It ain't over til it's over." Posting overly negative comments or overly positive comments early in a game is never a good idea.

No. It’s still a stupid hill to die on. We are far better with Hagans than without. I don’t know his physical health, but when he’s at 100%, he is one of the best players on the team, if not the best.
Not the Hagans that quits on his team. The Hagans who plays with the team goal in mind yes. Which one do we have now? If he comes back, he needs to be on a very short leash.

Back on topic, I dunno if we would've won with Hagans today. I could easily see him costing us.

I do know that for us to win six straight games against good competition, he needs to straighten out whatever it is that's going on and get back to an attitude of teamwork.

The line moved a half a point in Florida’s favor after the news broke Hagans wasn’t playing. Vegas didn’t think we’re better without Hagans.
That's not Vegas my friend..It's the betting public that changes the lines...***newsflash***, the public is wrong 75% of the time..It's how Vegas builds all the high rise casinos

Id say Hagans is gone this year regardless.

See, we can keep it to basketball. You can leave your emotions out of it.
My emotions are in check. You have your pick of many to argue with so go that route. You are just too, too easy. I feel I am dueling with an unarmed man.

Gracious in victory. I knew what I was risking when I picked this fight with time left on the clock, so I’m gonna stick it out and take the beating.

Keep it coming, folks.
