17 rebounds for KJ is unbelievable. That is giving maximum effort when things aren't going that great for you on the offensive end. Those are the type of players that you need to win in March.

Is that the highest RB total by a UK player since MKG against UofL? If so, good company to be in.

He also had a career high 5 assists.

Edit: Bam had a game against a cupcake with 18 rbs.

Other than that, it's the most since MKG's 19 against UofL.

Other fun facts: Boogie had two games with 18 (including against UofL) and AD had one.

Terrence Jones had 17 twice his freshmen year. Easy to forget how dominant he could be in college.

Davis also had 16 in a game twice (including against KU in the title game).

The freshmen single game rebound record is 20 and is held by Chris Mills, of course.

Richards had 19 against Southern Illinois this year.

Just wanted to bump this thread for the totally A+ game from both of those young men. Truly both deserving of the game ball.

Those 17 boards was sweet stuff. Quiet "Mashburn" type rebounding game from KJ. And the game Hagans played ?? Ohhhh myyy.... Loved seeing the shot fall like that, baby.

The scary thing is.... on any given night it could be ANYONE on this team, it seems, that can have THE NIGHT. Still much upside potential there too.

I would love to see them cut down on those unforced TO's, but they do well enough. Just keep bringing the intensity, and they can beat anyone.
