Haarms top 10

I would much rather see a surprise return of Richards, but if that doesn’t happen I would love to have a Haarms. He is definitely not a Richards replacement in kind, but you can’t teach 7’3” with some coordination and skill.
If you want a chance to win a championship in your last year of collegiate eligibility there are only 2 logical choices there.
Gonzaga has 4 guys 6’10 plus who are going to get minutes already. I’m not seeing him going there.

That has to be one of the strangest lists I have seen. Those schools have virtually nothing in common! BYU and Memphis are polar opposites, for example.

Why are you even a UK fan? That’s a very sad outlook on our team. If I went into the season believing there was no way we could win the title I’d have a very hard time even following the team.
Especially when it’s our overall most talented team since 2015 regardless of who else comes back or anyone else we add.
Montana’s a straightshooter, although I completely disagree with him here.
What UK center did we (as fans) want shooting multiple 3 pointers?

Haarms is most likely better at shooting the 3 than his limited sample size shows. He shot a lot of them at a good clip on his Spanish Junior team. Here is a small highlight. He had 6 games where he made 4+ threes ( very hard to find career stats) He was 7’2 at this stage. That being said I also agree that Cal doesn’t want him shooting them, but I also think he will take 40-50 on the season if he comes here.
I do realize a lot of the highlights are from his single year at Sunrise Academy in Kansas, some are also from his time in Spain, played in the Dutch League prior to that as well.

Its never been Cals MO to let his bigs shoot 3’s, id imagine he especially wouldnt for one thats 7’3. Maybe he’ll have a change of heart this season in an attempt to unclog the lane and give other guys the ability to slash which seems like itll be more of our strength but i just wouldnt necessarily as a fan ‘plan’ on seeing him shoot any since it hasnt happened before under Cal
You’re wrong. UK will be in the mix next season. Too much talent coming. Cal and staff too good at developing. Might have some growing pains, but they’ll be in the hunt come March.

If you have a 10 school list,you are just looking for attention or playing a joke on 6 or 7 schools
Cal didn’t have any problem letting Sestina shoot the three. Seemed like even Reid Travis would put up at least one a game.
Was such a good game too. I was convinced they were better than UNC but they fumbled it away down the stretch. UNC was so broke that game idk how they won
Memphis could work if he wanted to get tons of minutes and show off his game. Penny would let him have free reign. The prospects of Tex Tech would also become interesting if they got Kuminga
If he makes them Cal will let him shoot them - if he misses his first and his man banks one in from the corner with a hand in his face - out the rest of the half

Good point. To be fair sestina wasnt really a threat to score from the low block really. Travis shot quite a decent amount it feels like early in the year and as the season went on he never shot them at all. We desperately needed Junior year Richards his Sophomore year. That team coulda been special.
