They were collected in 2007 for the Oklahoma State game too.
Correct but that was first time it had happened back then and if I recall correctly Stevie P was fired soon after and TO came aboard as AD. Fast forward 16 years to empty seats in stadium well it happens often last few years it doesn’t matter anymore

I think HH played well enough that there is still a strong case to be made that NU would have a better chance getting that 6th win with him at QB than with Dylan; and I mean the Dylan of right now, not 8 weeks ago

He will start only if Dylan is hurt and shouldn’t start otherwise. Other than that, any 15 year old kid can come in and call an offense that doesn’t look like he’s trying to lose on purpose, and it will look infinitely better.

As long as Satt is the OC, it really matters ZERO, who the QB is. He's a complete dumbass in over his head and doesn't put his QB in a good position.

My view on this has shifted a bit, simply because Satterfield is such a blockhead. If Raiola doesn’t play yesterday, NU’s chances of winning might actually improve simply because Satterfield would probably suck it up and run the ball instead of putting everything on the QB’s back.

That’s an effed up reason to choose a starting quarterback, but here we are.

I've said Rhule isn't committed to winning, as proven by his career .500 record. He's more worried about his "coaching tree" than he is about the here and now.

He proved last year, and is confirming it this year, he is a lousy in-game coach. If you're gonna win a high percentage of your games, you need either a difference-maker at HC or at least a very good HC. We have neither.

People that automatically think NU wins 10-11 games next year might be in for a rude awakening. Rhule had 16 or so starters back, a 5* QB, and a team that peaks in the first half of the year and reels the 2nd half of the year. We're hitched to a career .500 guy. 1 3/4 years at NU 10-11.

We don't run the ball, certainly not committed to running the ball. We aren't the most physical team, far from it. We don't win the 4th quarter, we're lucky to hang around till the 4th quarter.
Everything he says we are gonna do, in reality, we do the opposite. Why would it suddenly change in year 3?

From “Our identity is extremely balanced” to “he looks like he’s losing on purpose!”

Bahahahahahaha

The fact so many (not me) are calling for HH to lead this team right now has to be absolutely maddening for guys like you who cast their lot against him

Hilarious

The offense has clearly changed a lot from when we put up more points on Illinois than Penn State did the following week.

Nope.

Exact same process, different results.

Results that people who know winning football expected, unfortunately.

Results that in denial morons like you are just now coming to grips with.

As an example, in first quarter scoring starting with UTEP and ending with UCLA:

7-14-7-10-0-7-0-0-0. In the last 5 games NU has 1 total TD in the 1st quarter.

The scripted plays have went the way of the Dodo bird.

The OC's play calling has become the antithesis to winning football in college.

He’s doing the same things he’s always done when able

Completely undisciplined playcaller, just like last year with sims and purdy and now with DR

He just can’t help himself. Guy loves patty cake, finesse, pass-first, losing offense.

And so does Rhule by proxy.

I thought it was so cute when Rhule busted out a playsheet of his own yesterday.

Great post. I agree.
I think it's funny about the "Year 3" thoughts. I think we struggle to get to 5-6 wins again next year. Everyone else is getting better in college football except Nebraska. No amount of extra practices will ever be enough under these mediocre coaches.
