How about a little credit goes to the Cincinnati defensive coaches and players for allowing little to no separation for the wide receivers, tight ends etc…?

Mahomes had plenty of time on many many plays in the 2nd half but no one to throw to.

Just a thought. Winking
Man there is so much to like about some of the young QBs in the league right now. I don't get the hate for Mahommes. He's a good dude and fun to watch. I was rooting for Zac Taylor and Joe Burrows because of the Husker connection but damn some of these guys are being harsh. Fun game. Burrow has elephant nuts.

Mahommes is an awesome QB, but so are Allen and Burrow. I predict Trevor Lewis to join that bunch.
Think about the young QBs in the AFC right now. There's Burrow, Herbert, Mahomes. Allen and Lamar Jackson. All are 26 or younger. Maybe the best group on young QBs ever in one conference

???? huh. People hate on Patrick because of his brother and wife? Wow.
They were actually trending on twitter after the game. America hates those 2. They are 2 of the most self involved attention whores on social media

The AFC is definitely loaded with the future.

Bottom line — there are a lot of great young QBs in the AFC. Mahomes is one of about seven.

Most importantly, the Donkeys have none of them.

I agree with that but I wouldn't hold that against Mahomes. He's not the idiot here, they are..

How old is his brother? Wife is probably a drama queen. So what. His dad is a class act and always has been. American social media types hate lots of good people. Meh. Who cares.

I like Mahomes and think he's great. I just wish he played for a different team, with different fans.

And man, I hope Willie Gay's girlfriend held off on buying that new vacuum cleaner.

Hating Mahomes is stupid but there is a reason the other two are hated as much as they are.

I've been sort of a fan of multiple NFL teams over the past 60 years but never really the Chiefs. Not sure why. I guess I rooted for them a little when they had Will Shields. Man I just love football and great football players.

Love my Chiefs, but this one hurts. I don’t know what the hell happened to Mahomes, but he went into half time and never came out of the locker room. I hate to say this but KC did their best Nebraska impression tonight and got similar results. So… the heartache continues.

This is a funny thread.. Every damn person on this thread, if forced to bet their live savings on super bowl winner of the final four, would’ve taken the Chiefs!! You know it, I know it! Chiefs choked second half, but I wouldn’t trade Mahomes for anyone! Even with his dumbass brother and crack ***** wife!

You should try using more exclamation points with you posts. I don’t think we all fully understand how big of a boner you have from the Chiefs losing.
Any day the Chiefs lose is a good day. You had a good season. Mahommes is the ****. Just not today.

Yep, and keep in mind Cincy just beat KC a few weeks ago in Cincinnati so that makes twice in one season. Anybody that thought that the Cincy win was a fluke is just fooling themselves

Just think how they'll be now that they can concentrate on drafting/trading for OL

He’s a fantastic QB. Legit. And his teams will win more playoff games. Its been assumed that he would dominate the AFC for at least a decade. But now it is not assumed. That’s what is interesting and different.
