Wagner hasn't improved one bit since he stepped foot on UK's campus.
He can’t shoot. If you can’t shoot, you are at best an average player.
Beating Kansas was the worst possible thing to happen to both Arkansas the team and its fanbase. Those poor saps will think they're a top 10 team all year with a chip on their shoulder until The Holy Enunciation School for the Blind and Disabled (13) beat them by 3 in the 1st round.

Davis hurt his wrist on that play. He’ll finish this game and be heard from again sometime around Christmas.
Hearing Goose excited for just basic basketball plays is fun. First time he’s got to experience that on color. Dude was loving the perimeter passing

Cal used to be the edgy, new-approach dude in this sport. He never evolved. Too stubborn to adapt.

Cal said post game that they hadn’t worked on zone offense yet, which would explain some things.
He also said you don’t have to hit every shot you just can’t miss them all.

How much offensive installation do you actually need to deal with zone defenses, really? There’s only so much you can do. You couldn’t spend a couple of hours this week prepping for a 1-3-1 that Baylor loves to run?
There is so much to love about this team. At the moment, my favorite thing may be that it isn't even Thanksgiving and roles are clearly defined and pretty much set.
My 3rd-5th grade teams understood how to play a 2-3 defense and how to attack one. Seriously, it’s not difficult if you practice. Instead of talking all the time during practice to hear yourself talk.
And it’s not rocket science. Run a 2 guard set. Move guys in and out of the high post. Shooters in corners. You can overload it. You can do a baseline runner. Interchange the parts so you’re not standing around. 30-45 minutes of prep. Maybe just at the shoot around/walk-thru.
The #1 reason teams run a 1-3-1 is to stop dribble pen. And yet . . .
Cal just throws the one offensively gifted dude available in the middle and hopes for the best.
Those poor bastards don't have any idea. They're aggravated a little, but they are contributing possible solutions, which means they have hope.
They won't REALLY understand, until Calipari has ground every last remnant of hope away, under the heel of his boot.
It takes time to hollow out a fanbase until there is nothing left but an empty husk...
