Knocking down the corner 3 is an absolute must in today's game to spread the floor. We kind of had it this year with Herro/Johnson, but Cal never tried to fully develop the concept.* When Virginia spread the floor with Hunter and Guy to the corners, they were lethal. Golden State is the same way. It's impossible to guard all the spots on the floor when you can hit the deep corner shot.

* Lamb absolutely owned the baseline in 2012. (Take notes Cal!)

O/U on the National Championship game is 120.

I mean, you *have* to go over here...right?

This seems like the ultimate suckers bet, where nearly everyone is betting one way, only to see it go the other. Lowest total in 20 years.

Doesn't happy very often, but I was certainly right about this. The under was so "obvious" that it actually wasn't, imo.

Had we won against Auburn, Virginia would have been a nightmare matchup for us. They don’t allow anything in the paint and that’s basically all we do, especially in tight games.

UK “isn’t expecting any surprises” in terms of draft decisions.

So they’re all leaving, presumably.
As a program, maybe we've moved past the self-promoting, line everybody up together at a table to announce their decision to jump to the NBA. But, if not, the fact that PJ announced alone give me a glimmer of hope....

And yes, I realize it's less than a 1% chance either Herro or Johnson come back. But I gave up being a pessimistic ******* for Lent. So f*ck you.

He's also from Southern Indiana which is a real hot bed for racism and weirdos.

I got hammered with Fuzzy at a wedding around 2004 so I can vouch for his booze intake. Late in the reception he had his tie rambo style around his head and was ordering shot after shot for us. Wild dude.

“No surprises” should mean that Johnson goes and Hagans stays. Not sure what they’re expecting about Herro.

Kyle Guy looks like J-Roc from "Trailer Park Boys." Took me a while to make that connection, but there it is.

J-Roc was probably the best character in that show's history.

This team never showed the sack to consistently hit shots in big games. Not a damn one of them. How some of you keep putting that on Cal is beyond me.

I can only imagine how many times Keldon Johnson will get rejected at the rim in the Gatorade league next year

Despite the image the PGA wants to put out there... I believe most professional golfers are probably raging pricks. Think about it. Most grow up very privileged. It’s not a team sport. It’s all about the individual. It’s a glamour sport.

There seems to be some like able dudes amongst the younger fellas... Spieth and Justin Thomas, especially.

Next year's Final Four broadcast team should be Bill Walton and Dave Pasch. Do whatever it takes to make it happen, CBS.

Fuzzy’s daughter went to Charleston. I remember meeting her and ripping tequila shots with her at this bar, Captain Harry’s. Blonde. Pure smoke.

I didn’t get anywhere but Marcus.

It's going to be quite the scene when the whole town shows up to wish him farewell. It's been ~20 years since someone from Cincinnati actually went further than Dayton or Florence IIRC

Huh? They've had 3 coaches in the last 30 years.

Huggins (K-State, WVU)
Andy Kennedy (Ole Miss)
and now Cronin (UCLA)

I hate those black and red bastards and I think Cronin is awful, but anything that makes their fanbase suffer a little bit is ok with me. I just hope they make a ****** hire.

If I were a UC fan, I'd be happy. I think Cronin is an overrated *******. His ******* to win ratio isn't good enough to shed a tear over. Good riddance.

But, I have a coworker and neighbor who were both really upset this morning at the possibility of Cronin leaving. Of course they are both allegedly huge die hard Bearcat fans. (unless it is football season, then my neighbor suddenly becomes an Ohio State fan)

Anyway, I hope he fails miserably at UCLA and I hope his replacement fails even worse at UCLA. We definitely don't have to worry about UCLA picking up any more titles while he is there.

I like him, but Justin Thomas is first team all prick.

-Brandon Knight was 12-37 in the NCAAT from 3. 1-6 vs OSU & 3-11 vs UConn.

Also had 16 turnovers to 17 assists. If he was white Chad would hate him just like he does Herro, game winners be damned.

I was making an oblique reference to the fine citizens of Cincinnati rarely leaving the greater metro area and general provincialism

Lamb wasn't considered a great shooter coming out of HS. He was known more for his midrange game and then he gets here and starts throwing darts at the rim from distance. I love that goofy mfer.
So our best three-pointer shooter over the past 10 years is a guy who no one thought was a good three-point shooter coming out of high school. That sounds about right.

You actually hit the nail perfectly on the head. Spent the day in the Shotlink trailer a few weeks ago. The things the Tour is trying to do to enhance scoring and stats to make GAMBOL better rely on a 70 yr old volunteer or a pretentious player that can't be bothered to carry a device in their bag. Granted the Tour bent over backwards for them so they became entitled but it's very much a challenge for the development of the things the Tour is working on because of the players themselves being ********.
