Now that it's all said and done, man it turned out to be a blessing missing out on Louisville and the road UT got. Tomorrow we play a home game against the Auburn Tigers down their best player.
Matt Haarms looks like a member of A Flock of Seagulls.
Duke, Texas Tech, Auburn, and Purdue sounds like a Maui Invitational field, but what if it's the Final Four lol.
Does Gonzaga's all-too-easy conference schedule leave them a little unprepared for the NCAA tourney?
And I Haaaaa--aaa---arrms, I Haarms so far awa--ay--ay
Three out of four Kenpom top ten opponents agree.
Purdue getting looks because of Virginia’s lack of length on defense...
But damn, they hit some filthy shots.

Since the UNC game on Dec 15, they hadn't played anybody worth a damn.
They beat Duke, lost to Tennessee, lost to UNC, then played an incredibly weak schedule from there on out.

Purdue might be a bit concerned at the halftime score given how they shot the lights out for a big portion of the game so far.
Yeah, Purdue ever decides to take advantage of the 7'3 honk with the soft touch and they may advance. Doubt it though.
The team with 9 effin losses. Jesus.
Sign me up for the 3 ball dependent team playing in a Final 4 spaceship arena.
I may be unreasonably confident for tomorrow. Don’t even have a lot of nerves at this point. I can’t imagine Auburn down Okeke beating us to go to the Final Four.
Crazier things have happened, but this just feels like our time to make a Final Four.

Agree with Chase. Overwhelm them with our all world bigs and frustrate them with our iron grip D and prepare to take on UVA or Purdue for a chance at 9. Can't beat that.
I’m nervous as hell. I think Auburn is really good and the game is a total coin flip.
The only E8 game I never worries about was 2012 vs Baylor. Zero sweat with that team until the F4

Definitely don’t think it’s a coin flip. If we lose it’s a disaster. It’s still f*cking Auburn.
Everyone got their Elite 8 spot to watch scheduled? Will be watching at parents' house. Produced Final Four berths from that location in 93, 96, 97, 11, 12, and 14.
Got a hotel for the game with the wife and kids. Hopefully I don’t have to mute it this time.
I think we all agree that Auburn is tough, deserves tons of respect, and should be taken very seriously. We will need to play well to win.
THAT SAID, it just doesn't feel like Auburn keeps us from a Final Four. Especially after all the **** this team has been through.
Just as it didn't feel like we would lose to effing Wofford. Or, just as if UK football were playing Bama (or Auburn or Georgia or LSU) for a spot in the CFP. In the latter situation, we'd almost feel like - great season, an all-timer for us; now you big boys go do what you do.
Should we lose, I will cheer my *** off for Auburn in the next 2.

Gonna watch at church on my phone with air pods. Hopefully I can keep my excitement muted lol.
Last year.
BUT WE SUCKED LAST YEAR, BOB. It was never going to be our year.
And that's what helped pave the way for this year.
Yep - make a F4 run and PJ probably bolts. Instead, he comes back pissed off and ready to put up 15/8 in an E8 win to get to that promised land he missed out on last year, but with a chance to actually WIN IT
Ready to tip it up right now. :boxing:
If I trusted Hagans at all I’d rather see Purdue, but as it stands this Edwards kid would destroy Hagans and I have no reason to believe otherwise. The main advantage against Purdue is that they don’t play disciplined defense at all.
UVA plays to most of our strengths when Cal tightens up and that would be a big advantage for us IMO.
It’s a tough call, but ultimately I don’t want to think about Edwards/Kline all week.
