On KSR yesterday, Matt Jones said that the plan for PJ all along has to been to cut the cast off today and then wait to evaluate whether he can go on Friday. That passes the WCC smartfan smell test, imo.

My “guesses” about PJ are far from blind and half baked. Based on the facts they’ve shared (foot sprain), what we’ve seen (hard cast and scooters), and an understanding of orthopedics, the possibility of a ligament injury that requires several weeks of immobilization is very real.
