I hope Chief keeps posting for a long time.

Hey Kinfolk !! How is it going ? Word from the wise, grow thick skin. A couple idiots like BlackMamba, and a couple other not funny, made up people will harass the hell out of you and make stupid threats all to get you to not post on a message board they think they rule. Just relax and play along, make them feel like they are winning. LOL.

It's Thursday and I have had the single best week in my entire career. Brought in a customer no on has closed, brought in a giant project from a walk last week and a smattering of others. Never worked my *** as hard as I have at this job but when **** just closes smooth like a Herro J, you just have to sit back and enjoy the frosty collides because tomorrow it shall rain but mother'fer, not today.

Also, just in from the Internet, UKO still sucks massive, giant throbbing dicks to the tune of one per UNC academic cheating infraction.

Taste the rainbow, the sprinkles and that *** you insufferable, contrarian ****.

Tough one for me today- root for hometown Campbell County or Grant Brannen’s Walton-Verona?

-I wish this page of GYERO was out of timeouts and would call one.

-Great meeting Strokin' Bandit yesterday at the Sweet 16. :joy: at him shaking my hand, then doing his wave.

-Pulling for W-V to make it to the semis, where they'll probably get destroyed by Trinity.

-I know this is GYERO and hyperbole rules, but that Scott County/CovCath ending yesterday was unlike anything I've ever seen. CovCath down by 19 with 1:28 left. THEIR student section starts singing "Na na na na....goodbye". Then they turn Scott County over five straight times, and over the course of the final 90 seconds, go 5-5 from the field, 4-4 from 3, and 4-4 from the line. Haven't seen that much tension in a Sweet 16 arena since the finals in '92, when everyone in Freedom Hall was ignoring the LexCath-UHA title game and instead watched Kentucky-Duke on the TV's in the suites.

Crazy ending. Never give up, Never, ever give up. Unless you're Chief.

My only hope for the Sweet 16 is that Madisonville loses and Trinity crushes all of their opponents. Listening to the commissioner of KHSAA or whatever ramble on KSR about how revered teams are from the mountains or Central Kentucky “local” teams really makes me believe that it makes them
cringe when a team from Louisville cuts down the nets.

It's all about attendance. They wouldn't have any problem with a 6th Region vs. 7th Region final if it could get the walk-up sales they're looking for. But that would never happen.

-With Zion Duke is easily the best team. Don't really care what historical numbers are out there he just changes the entire game similar to Anthony Davis.

-January in March. FOH. At least SECT weather looks warm(but a bit wet).

-FOH >>>>>> GTFO

-Most of this Wade stuff has been known for months. Will be intersting to hear what the Miller convos have in them. Assume this is leaking because these two are going on the stand. $20 bet with BBdk that Miller won't be the coach of Zona next season.

-Vitale and O'neil calling for Wade's job is pretty hypocritical but not unexpected.

-Hopefully explains why we only briefly flirted with Smart.

-Keeneland 3 weeks out. :sunglasses: Eyes on the prize.

- Great meeting Mr. Llama. What a relief to finally meet a normal person from this board.

- I left the Scott/CCH game early yesterday. Unbelievable. Scott County may choke this thing away.

- lots of folks hating on the KHSAA up here. I’m not one of them, but they are taking a beating from the casual fan. Weirdly, this weather isn’t helping their cause. Snow during March Madness????

* Did anybody else's team besides mine lose in the sweet 16 over the last two days? Congrats to BBdK and the rest of you Madisonville guys. The Patriots will have their day, but the better team won last night.

* An LSU coach cheating to get a player from Baton Rouge is a pretty terrible look for #MyCoach considering 4 out of every 5 great LSU players are either from Baton Rouge or within a 2-hour drive.

How do you get caught cheating in 2019? So incredibly careless. Gotta have some regard for time and score, Will.

* Is Indiana going to weasel their way into the dance?

how many losses would it take for duke to fall behind us?

our game against UNC can be viewed as an early season game without much meaning but duke could lose ten and stay in front of us because they sodomized us in November

About the only thing that makes me cringe is the Louisville paranoia that some of you have.

That said, I hate when Matt Jones acts like ballplayers/teams from the mountains have an elevated stature...like somehow it is more Kentucky than Western Kentucky rural teams or Louisville/Lexington teams, or whatever.

Mark Story's column about the loudest reactions in Rupp Arena since the capacity is going down this summer was nice and brought back good memories, but none of the people he polled said the right answer, which is when we got Kansas back in 1991 after they scored 150 on us the year before.

There has never been a Kentucky crowd that wanted blood like that one did.

To be clear, Killa & I loathe (loathed) Madisonville North Hopkins...in the same way you St. X cats hate Trinity. They were our blood rivals, and it was pretty ugly most of my youth.

Being 22 years removed from High School, however, it's definitely cool to see the home town making some noise, and at least keeping the Hoptown Teams home for once. The schools have changed, many of my friends/families now attend North...2 of their main players (White & Stone) are the sons of our former teammates. #old.

They have some dudes for sure: Having 6'9 & 6'7 D1 players on the front line helps...and basically their entire team is back next year.

My stance is always touch Trinity, Scott Co, and any other recruiting schools...go little guys! That's what makes the event so special.

-Bought the $9.95 package to watch the game last night, and going forward. Pretty decent production mirrored to the TV, w/ Paul Rodgers on the call.

I mean, ESPN's affinity for the ACC is no secret. When it comes to CBB, I'm sure ESPN execs view the ACC as their money-maker.

Under *no* circumstances will the ACC get 3 teams on the 1-seed line. To float the possibility is just plain asinine, and certainly not the kind of hard-hitting analysis that's going to persuade me to pay for an ESPN+ subscription. Pretty much the opposite, tbh....

They no doubt have 3 of the top 5-6 teams, but half of the ACC this year couldn't contend in the Horizon League. Dismal.

There has never been a Kentucky crowd that wanted blood like that one did.

There should be separate categories for loudest moments and loudest game for 40 minutes.

Loudest moments: my first thought before I read it was the end and OT of Kansas 1978 (imagine that), as Joe B said. Tied it at the buzzer after being down 6 with :30 left (no 3-pointer then) and won it in OT. Defending national champs still had some fight in them after losing 4 seniors. Although I'm sure it seemed louder to me as a 12 year old than it would as an adult.

01 vs UNC: Tayshaun's (5) 3s.

11 vs UNC: Henson blocks Henson.

Loudest entire games:

1980 LSU
1983 U of L (edited to add, good call).
1984 Houston
1990 LSU
2001 UNC
2003 Florida
2011 UNC

Really hard to distinguish without measurable criteria. (Although ESPNNOW! would say the 2017 Kansas game hit the highest decibel record ever, so it must be that one!!!!!!!).
