The graphic showed earlier in this UT/Miss game had us as the 1 seed in the SECT. I thought LSU had the tiebreaker over us.

Saw that too. I'm guessing that's based on the premise of a 3-way tiebreaker, which technically is the case today, but won't be after Saturday.

Whew, thank goodness.

1. Didn't want angry Vols on Saturday (obv).

2. Didn't want our UT win devalued.

3. Didn't want Ole Miss to have extra confidence for Tuesday.

Perfect scenario - emotional, hard-fought UT win.

It's a fine line, and takes some luck.

Annnd, it must be about March - found myself verbally rooting for UT in final :30. Outside of UK and opponents of Duke, that's the first time yet this season.

Ole Miss fans do not understand basketball (also obv).

Grant Williams did a good job in interview, complimented Kermit and Ole Miss, and even mentioned RT. Barnes has taught those guys well.

If it's a no-call they lose anyway, so no big deal, but watch it again. That's a text book charge. Guy tried to throw himself into the nearest defender and happened to find a guy who'd been standing straight up and down with feet set for a good second and a half. He was looking for a call and it backfired on him. Next time maybe he'll just pull up and try to make a shot.

Edit: i dont disagree...it was a technically correct call, just a situationally bad call.

Alex Jones has been on Joe’s podcast before, listen to the last one. They got blitzed on weed and Jack Daniel’s and Alex and Eddie Bravo went down a pretty amazing conspiracy hole. Entertaining stuff.

Went to a nice local favorite spot tonight, Deuces, with some friends. Duck bacon, seafood deviled eggs, fried green tomatoes, ceviche, tuna poke (one of my favorites down correctly), shrimp chowder for apps. Polished it off with scallops over pork belly and a potatoe cake. Stuffed.

I think Georgia was up 2 with less than a second left and was going to intentionally miss it so it was a pretty good idea to give them the point and set up a play for a last second shot to tie it.

If not for the whole technical foul thing.
