Playing like **** in the 2nd half is probably good for us. Something for Cal to ***** at them about.

Only thing Cal needs to be yelling about is this vanilla *** offense we are running. We haven't run much offense for PJ and when we do he's whipping incredibly dumb passes at weird angles.

So they're having GameDay on Wednesday at 6? [laughing]

Forgive me if this has happened before, but I've not noticed it.

Just heard the guys talking about $2,500 tickets to Cameron Indoor.

First, I don't believe it. Second, if anyone is paying that in February for a rivalry that plays 2-3 times EVERY season, they're idiots. Enjoy your mid-season experience, morons.

Third, that's the problem with those two inbred schools, they care more about that rivalry than they do about national championships, or their standing nationally or historically.

In my two UK @ Dean Dome experiences, those idiots were selling tickets for under face. They are so myopic, they can't see past Tobacco Road.

Any craving for championships that either of those two schools has is only so they can best the other. I don't think they even know who UK, Kansas or UCLA are.
Drove to chapel hill late 2010 to watch Brandon Knight and TJones get robbed.

Sat lower level corner for less than what I could get into the uppers to watch UNC at rupp

- Always want to prove Geesefeeder wrong but not like this.

- As always, I’m excited to watch UNC-Duke. The ESPN hype is nauseating and, as CB noted, it’s weird how they don’t really hate each other. They’re co-depenedent. They stick up for each other. Weird.

- I loathe my team even on the same course as a Martin or Anderson team. F those guys and their dirty muck.

- So, Indiana was mediocre last year, is awful this year, and lose their two best players while adding a decent but not great class. I know Archie returns all these sportswriters’ texts so they think he’ll be there another 20 years but how will he survive next season?

Sampson was actually a really good coach- should have swallowed the “clean” facade and kept him.

- And what about that POS Hoosier crowd chanting “F you, Haarms”? Disgusting fanbase. Too much Jersey in that student base now.

I thought Archie would do well...although I’m always dubious of the “this young coach got hot for a couple weeks in March” hire. But he seemed to know what he was doing...he looks completely overwhelmed now.

They should have paid Marshall.

Marshall was so obvious I couldn’t believe they didn’t go after him. He’s a prick just like their fans. He can win with the exact type of kids Indiana produces. And UK and Purdue fans would have instantly hated his guts.

Wonder what the difference in wins and points is between the two? Think we will here that ad nauseam tonight.

No one thought Duke-UNC was "the greatest rivalry in blah blah blah" until ESPN started telling everyone it was. Real talk - it's a rivalry 99% manufactured by a TV network come at me

It’s a fun set of games every year between two schools miles apart who also both happen to be Top 5 all-time programs. Besides ESPN, how can any college basketball fan not enjoy it?

Haarms is a 7-3 guy who takes charges. In this case the chanting is appropriate.

Between the horrific charge call on the baseline and Haarms going over the back on the winning tip, Indiana kinda got jobbed last night. You hate to see that.

The very existence of Missouri basketball in the SEC is enraging. Missouri anything, actually.F'n Cuonzo, man. Can't believe Jaylen Brown committed to play for that guy when he was at California.

Bingo.

ESPN has or had several execs that were UNC and Duke alumni and they decided in the mid 90’s they were going to crank up the hype machine on this thing. TWO REALLY GOOD SCHOOLS ONLY 11 MILES APART. LOOK AT THESE SUPER SMART DUKE STUDENTS CAMPING OUT. HOW CUTE.

The fans don’t really hate each other. Most Duke students are from the Northeast and didn’t pay attention to basketball until they got to Duke. Also, Krzyzewskiville isn’t real. Those students don’t stay in those tents. It’s fabricated for tv.

I’ll give UNC credit for this. At least they have a portion of their fan base that grew up in North Carolina cheering for UNC, even if they’re a collective group of uber pretentious ********.

-IU's student fans are oblivious idiots. None were even alive the last time IU was IU so they don't understand being a traditional power. Hell most of their parents were probably teenagers in the late 80's. The program simply refuses to put the past behind them. Solid collapse though, beat all your tough non-conference foes and lose the next 11 or 12 in a row. Dakich going in on them everyday certainly not helping things with the old school faction.

-Cal said a couple weeks last night, assuming that's best case scenario, but he sounded aloof or distracted with Leech on the post-game. Being on a text with Dr Boat listing every possible injury isn't helping. He didn't look too bad walking off the floor or to the locker room so hopefully just precautionary.

-Like the White/Sumrall moves. Keep continuity and add a recruiter while grooming your next DC.

-Have we talked about February weather yet? I feel like we haven't discussed it.

-Helping PTI setup his indoor bike trainer is seriously worse than helping either of my parents with a computer or internet based problem. How is someone, in his age range with his education, so bad at minimal technology? I have no doubt that G could complete this task more efficiently than PTI. Dumbest smart guy I know.

Dunno but Hagans could stand to tighten his handles a bit (a lot).

Dude's pretty flippant out there with the ball. Gonna hurt come March against a good squad.

Just how he is. You just hope what he brings is enough to overcome it. Usually, it is but he’s definitely in a little funk.

*To me, Hagans is entirely too tentative on offense. He often has his man beaten, and then instead of driving and either dishing or taking the little floater, he resets back up top and starts it all over. He needs the confidence to blow passed people and finish or dish way more often than he does.

*Obviously, the best thing about Duke/UNC is I’m guaranteed one of them takes a loss. Generally a good night in my house.

Here's The Ringer's lottery projections. Not a single Cayt on it -- which is not unexpected.

At this point, it is hard to say which of our guys is the best pro prospect. Washington and Johnson are the two leading contenders, of course, but there isn't that much separation. If Hagans got scorching hot, I could see his defense pushing him higher in the draft than you would expect.

Washington and Johnson will both have long careers as role players or 4/5 starters. If Herro becomes a deadeye- which I think he will eventually- he can be the best pro.
