Really interested to see how the teams at the top of the Big 12 standings implode and serve up the conference title to Kansas on a silver platter again this year. Right now, the only thing standing between KU and first place is Bruce F’ing Weber.
I’ve said it before, but 95% of the reason for Kansas’ “streak” is that the conference sucks.
If they were in the SEC, they wouldn’t have won it in 2007 (Florida), 2010 (UK), 2012 (UK), 2014 (Florida), 2015 (UK), or this year (UT/LSU/UK).

I’m not particularly a musicball but I *worship* those band docs on axstv etc. The REM and Pearl Jam ones were like 4 hours long and I still wanted more.

Funny you mention Rem...listened to about 30 of thier early 80s songs on Youtube a few days ago and they surprizingly held up very well.
Thier power was in having 3 singers...Stipe, Berry/drums and thier amazing bassist, Mills.
Buck's guitar was so ever creative as well and the fact that an average band just writing music inspired by thier own influences (velvet underground, 60s pop, etc.) Sold/and influenced millions of home recorders, such as me.

Listening to bands such as Rem, the Replacements, the Clash and the Ramones gave me confidence to go ahead and start writing myself.
Fact that all 4 bands each played a ton of covers gives you an immensely intelligent history of pop music imo.
