It has nothing to do with race, obviously. That's a dumb/lazy/sportswriter take. Tyler Ulis was the most popular player here in the last decade, probably. Hell, I did an unofficial "Favorite Tyler" twitter poll and Ulis kicked Herro's ***. If UK fans were driven by racism, Dominique Hawkins wouldn't have been more popular than Derek Willis. The reason has been said, but it's because Herro plays harder and gets more out of his (more limited) ability. This is pretty much borne out by the fact that he plays more minutes than KJ, even though he's not a top 10 pick, and Johnson is. He also has more steals and blocks (!) -- but fewer fouls -- than KJ.

I bet the fire at the Red Bar was probably accelerated by all that cash they have lying around. That's what they get for not accepting credit cards, frankly.

As much as I dislike Duke and the "OMG WE'VE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE ZION!!!" narrative, I did think this was pretty funny since it involves Louisville: "Duke's comeback was the largest ever in the final 10 minutes of the game in a regulation win."

Herro doesn’t play harder. Subjective BS. And some of you are biased. Pretty easy to determine who. We all know.

Argue all you want about Herro/Johnson, but the most underwhelming player (granted his expectations coming in werent as lofty) is Quickley. We are going to need him for 15 good minutes a game- and hes going to have to give *something* while hes on the court. He was adequate defensively last night, but for all the grief some guys get for not hitting shots-- we need to direct some of that on Quickley.

Gawd, the 2/3 line is soft. That’s good news because with our resume we have a pretty high floor as far as seeding. Tough for me to see us fall below a 2.
Honestly, I think being a 2-seed in the Midwest, or 1-seed in the West, is probably the best road for UK.

Unless we somehow leap *both* UVA and Tennessee as 1-seeds (no chance), or UVA is the second overall 1-seed with us as the top 2-seed, I don't see any way UK is in the South. That said, as soft as the PAC-12 is this year and the Big 12 without any teams that should scare you, I'm fine staying as far away from the East and the South as possible.

The real reason we lost

I'm gonna blame this on Joel, too. Surely Cal is not dumb enough to do something like this...

Surely there’s a platinum level/VIP/executive/all access/private membership that is an upgrade from the $10/month subscription.

Whatever it is, Manny has that.

Ryan Bingham with a new album out, and going back on tour. We are all better off because of it, too.

It’s not out yet, unless you have some VIP/all access/exclusive membership better than the $10 preorder.

What digit do you get to when entering your CC information for a premium friends only VIP membership before you’re almost overwhelmed by shame but decide to push through anyway? 4th? 12th? Security code on the back?

A lot of folks attacked King early in the season, some said he he didnt play hard enough, took some plays off. IIRC I was one of the few that kept reminding folks that he had a lot of dawg in him. Some of you, its fairly easy to tell who, are just breedist. Plain and simple. But at the end of the day, King is part of the winningest breed of all time, and the cream always rises.
