-people think herro is only a shooter cause hes a white kid. Thats ********. His defense/passing/rebounding/awareness/effort is far superior to KJ(at this point). Save the sjw garbage for millennial twitterturds. You should do better than that, gang. Its ponderous.

Umm- except the numbers don’t show that at all. Johnson is easily more efficient offensively and a better rebounder. They’re a push defensively with Herro being maybe a slightly better passer.

So, call it what you want, but there’s definitely a bias toward Herro.

May be controversial, but other than streaky play, I don't have an issue with Johnson. Really Johnson, Herro, Washington, and Travis give you the same thing every game. It's the other 4-6 that you can't count on right now. HAVE to get Hagans back over into that circle of trust and get more good than harm out of the 2 bigs off the bench.

Also, PJ can't be in foul trouble. 23 minutes ain't gonna cut it.

The bias is towards not starting every single game like a ***** and having to be coaxed into giving max effort by his 17 year old teammate.

Oh like last night when he was our best player the first 10 minutes? Herro starts cold nearly every single game.

Rex is right about some of you idiots.

Hard to make a guy root for Adrian in GYERO, but whiny *** dug in Chad and UKO are about the only two people that can do it.

Still waiting for someone to explain why Herro gets a pass and Johnson catches hell? Johnson is a superior player. Numbers say it. The unbiased eye says it.

This is coming off a game where Johnson was clearly the better player, too.

Johnson is project as a top 10 pick and was portrayed as a dawg, endless motor, etc. Not because he's black. Also, probably because he's not Zion.

-i like kj....i want him to shoot more(that may harm his offensive efficiency metric, so maybe not). Upside is tremendous...herro is just a more rounded ballplayer *right now*. Misses shots...but rarely looks lost/out of his depth. KJ is gonna get there. Problem is too many fans early on labeled him our "best player" based on potential alone...and they're confused and cant admit their assumption was wrong or premature at best.

-not blaming any kid. Bottom line Cal is the adult/professional and all losses(and wins) are on him.

Goodness Chad it’s pretty easy to explain...KJ has had to be pushed to play hard multiple times by his teammates. He’s gotten benched several times for a guy who hasn’t seen real game action in over a year for effort. Or maybe Cal is racist?!

He’s a top 10 pick, the only one we have on the roster. We expect him to play as such.

Herro is going to play like what he is, a borderline first round guy.

BTW, I like Keldon I just find myself wanting more from him...it’s a compliment actually.

Because he has always been the better player and the hell he catches isn't about some objective measurement of talent but rather expectations vs reality and failing in areas and that tend to piss fans off more than others.

Johnson was supposed to be a slashing "dawg" with a crazy motor and a decent jump shot. So far, he's got one of those things. Being considered a better player is actually the reason Johnson is getting more hell. Good grief

Actually we are all a bunch of subconscious super racists.

In the back of our minds we don’t even believe Keldon should be on the basketball floor.

Or something like that

Fair enough. Not buying it completely- I think people just find Herro’s game more aesthetically pleasing. He looks good even on his misses, whereas Johnson has no wiggle and is straight linedrives and Js.

But Johnson has been the superior player and also plays hard.

Passive-aggressive reverse racism from Chad.

Who saw that coming?

LET'S LOOK STRICTLY AT THE NUMBERS!!

K.

Honestly, didn’t start like that. Just have been noticing Johnson catching hell - along with most of our other guys - but never Herro.

But the answers I received were so lame and off, that it has to make you consider why.

I gave my take on why ... and I get it. Herro is smooth. If he actually becomes the shooter he’s supposed to be - and Johnson HAS BEEN- then he’s probably my favorite player for that reason.

But he doesn’t play harder than Johnson and he sure as hell hasn’t been the better player.

Lost a little bit in all of this, but LSU is a legitimately good basketball team. In terms of who we have played, I’m not so sure they aren’t better than everyone other than Duke.

Whoever said this was a horrible loss or worst loss of the season or whatever could not possibly be more wrong. If you watched them play at all this year you knew this would be a tough game.

I think he does play harder than Johnson for the majority of the minutes they are on the floor. If Herro plays hard 95% of the time, comparatively Johnson would play hard about 70% of the time.

Chad it really seems like when it comes down to it you are just super pissed that Herro doesn’t shoot the 3 better.

p.s. I love KJ and I haven’t really seen anyone that has an opinion worth counting that has been shitting on him a lot.

Waters is an issue. That mofo is badass. Best guard we've seen for sure.

Not unlike me with Travis, Chad has had it out for Herro since Day 1 - he can spin it however he likes, but :100points:. Geese will attest, just find it a bit weird.

That's it exactly re: Herro and making 3's. If six more of those 3's had fallen on the year, he's be at ~ 48% overall and 41% from 3, matching... never mind.

Hooray math and small sample sizes.

Here's a number that matters: Calipari *hates* white players and Herro still leads this team in minutes.

The race **** is stupid. Both Johnson and Herro are damn good talents and it is a shame that we aren't twenty years ago when we could look forward to watching them grow together for the next 3.25 years.

That said Herro gets way too attention (both positive and negative) because he's a good looking white kid who plays for UK. Now he needs to hit some damn threes.

Which his hatred of both Virginia and Herro I think it is plain to see that Chadwick hates the lighter race.

But I think Johnson gets a bum rap sometimes, too. He plays hard, he just doesn't always play with the confidence he should.

I don't care what color he is, I love Herro's game. Of course we all wish he was shooting 45% from 3 and not -4% on wide open 3's.

Just a friendly reminder, most of you guys are stupid.
