And if we’re a 2, we can’t get Tennessee and don’t want Duke, so that leaves Gonzaga and Virginia. Yeah, give me the team who got murked by the 16-seed.
My cousin bought the entire 1986-87 Fleer basketball set for $10 at Tater Day the year they came out.

Well no ****- they’re Top 5 EVERY regular season. It’s been mentioned a million times. Their style makes them ripe for NCAA upsets.
How I see it playing out(regular season only):
No losses - 1 seed in Louisville
1 loss - 2 seed in KC. Possibly the 1 but doesn't really matter.
2 losses - if both to UT then 2 seed in the West. Outside shot of KC.
3+ losses - In the East with Duke. 2 or 3 seed.

I’d choose UT, Gonzaga, Michigan, or any other option besides Duke (who sucks at team building).

I don’t think anyone has said they suck because every honk journalist blows them. I think people realize they are good but are also tired of the fawning over treatment they get every year when despite numerous #1 seeds over the last so many years they crash including being on the wrong end of making history last postseason.

You're not wrong about Virginia but if the choice is between those two(Zags, UVA), I think KC would be the better option. IMO.
Virginia is a great team, but a team more susceptible to upsets than most great teams. Thus, better to draw them as our 1 than other 1 seeds.

In a limited possession game getting hot or getting tight can make a massive difference. Virginia’s style just isn’t conducive to long tournament runs. More close games = more opportunities for upset losses.

Oh, I get it. I just think it's dumb to dismiss UVA's relative dominance of the touching ACC for going on 5 years. It's remarkable, when you consider their competition.

What websites do I need to go to in order to see all the UVA love? Bonus points featuring sportswriters who are old white guys. (Seems like most sportswriters these days are woke Kyle Tucker-types who would have an anti-UVA bent because they want to appear more woke.) The majority of articles I see about college basketball center around "Oh my God did you see what Zion did?" stuff.
