I'm going to list the top 15 teams in the country...the National Champion is one of those teams.

I tell you what I like about this squad, we have five dudes who can get you 20+, and you never really know who that's going to be. Basically depends on matchups and whether Keldon feels like playing hard.

* PJ Washington averaging a solid 20 points and 10 rebounds in his last 4 games, hitting 50% from three and 72% at the line. Good.

* Part of the team improving is John starting to coach individual players a little differently. He doesn't yell at certain guys anymore like a crazy person.

* Maybe it's just the matchup, but the deservedly #1 team in the country needed 43 points from Grant Williams and the friendliest road whistle in the history of Memorial Gym to beat this Vanderbilt team that couldn't score 100 points in 80 minutes of action against Kentucky, and that makes me feel pretty good about the situation.

* Tyler Herro: Still a liability on the court when the jumper isn't falling.

* We're halfway through the season and the guys are shooting 75% from the FT line. That will get you to heaven. They do a lot of things that bode well for March. I think going into tonight's game they were 9th in the country in rebounding and 11th in blocks. Rebounding, rim protection and free throw shooting travel.

* The first time my dad said that they better hurry up and beat us in 2012 was when they beat South Carolina on Feb. 4 in the 24th game of the season. We just played the 20th on Jan. 29, so I think I'm going to wait for the Tennessee game to throw down the gauntlet, but I'm leaning towards yes, they had, in fact, better hurry up and beat us.

He was doing a lot of direct coaching to KJ, IQ, and Richards throughout. Lots of individual motivation, especially once the game got out of hand.

UK canceling class tomorrow because it's cold?

G.T.F.O.

One of my fondest memories at UK was treking from my apt across campus only to find out classes were canceled due to 6 inches of snow and on the trek back falling flat on my *** on the sidewalk beside Patterson, only to look up and see one of the most beautiful co-eds I'd ever seen standing there asking me if i was ok. Well maybe not my fondest but i still remember it to this day.

I'm in a rage right now

Right now?

Nick Richards with a smooth 14 points and 4 blocks last night. For me, it is a good sign that he can have a solid box score and just blend into the flow of the game.

We are going to need him to be a reliable backup by March and (miraculously) he's pretty damn close to getting there.

* I'd rather you find the dead ladyboy Thai hooker in my basement then go back and read some of things I said about Cal and this Cats team just a few weeks ago.

* Herro misses all three of his 3-point attempts, and still impacts the game on both sides of the court. Interesting, as we have all said all year long he just lays down and quits when his shot isn't falling.:rolleyes:

* Jimmy Dykes failed to list Kentucky in his group of 7 teams that are capable of winning the title, but did have us absolutely in his top 7 teams this year. o_O

What a goof.

* High of 50 today. That ain't too bad.

* The stock advice thread. :joy::joy:

* "I waited a year and a half for this." -John (re: Paul Jamaine)

* School closings? You people are getting soft.

* Really surprised the NFL Commissioner didn't opt to void the outcome of the Saints-Rams game and schedule a replay/do-over, as is in his power to do. This was suggested by several dozen hens in my social media feed. Is that guy just completely deaf to the football fan community?
